Was here with my daughter and her daughter and my other daughter :) Food was great, server seemed … snippy and slightly rude, but could be because I am a server and am sensitive to these things. Atmosphere was so very cute! Very nice. If I lived closer I would really go here often. The menu looks amazing. Surprising to find such a lace in Chehalis!

We stopped by Jeremy’s yesterday following graduation ceremony and had a party of 15. The staff graciously accommodated us quickly. The server did a wonderful job making sure we were taken care of and explained that the kitchen was not staff was not expecting a large party but if we could be patient with them food would be out as soon as possible. The food came out in a timely manner as far as we could tell and it was hot fresh and delicious. Everyone’s plates came out together. Great job staff at Jeremy’s!!! Definitely recommend anyone to stop through!!! Thank you Gina

We would love this restaurant if it was in Portland or Seattle but it is astonishing to find it in Chehalis. Cool high ceilings in historic brick building. Lots of gluten-free choices and they say the menu will morph to Paleo. Prices are very reasonable and service was excellent. This is our new stopping point on our Portland — Seattle run.

Well we have visited this place about 5 times hoping that every time the service would be better! Food is fabulous. Service is awful! We have always had to wait at least 15 min to be greeted and have our order taken. Wether 2 tables or 10. This is what the low star rating! Foods great service horrible!

Wonderful place to eat and very reasonably priced. This is my second time dining here with my family and we have been very impressed both occasions. The only draw back this visit was the flies buzzing around the dining area. It was unseasonably hot today so the back door was left open for ventilation unfortunately with the cool are came flies and it almost took away from the dining experience. Please invest in a proper HVAC and you will get 5 stars from me.

Excellent atmosphere and great tasting food. Jeremy was actually our server on Mother’s Day and while their system went down and the kitchen was a bit slow, the food was amazing and Jeremy did an awesome job keeping our tummy’s full while we waited. The Fettuccine Carbonara was hands down my favorite but the Eggplant Parm and the Mediterranean Plate were also great as well. Definitely a must go, especially if you are meeting halfway between Portland and Olympia!

Tasty, fresh food and near perfect service. The pizza(which the menu said was naturally almost gluten-free) was one of the best crusts I’ve ever had. The chicken strips(also gf) were moist, crunchy, and seasoned perfectly. The spinach salad was fresh with lots of toppings and an amazing raspberry vin. We sat alone on the patio and were created within minutes of sitting down by a friendly and sweet server who took excellent care of us through the whole meal, checking back often to collect plates and fill drinks. In addition to great food, and great service, there’s a small market attached to the restaurant which allowed us to pick up organic veggies for tonight’s dinner. We will definitely be stopping here often on our frequent travels via I-5!

After waiting over 10 minutes for fl the waitress, Stephanie to come over and greet me, let alone take my order. I walked out. If they were busy, I could perhaps understand, but, there were 3 tables occupied with a total of less than 10 people, with AMPLE staff to accommodate. If you are looking for service, this is NOT your place. Can’t speak to the food, because I didn’t even get to order, let alone taste the food. I went to a nearby bar and got FAR better service.

So impressed! So many organic choices here. I got half prime rib half veg pizza for lunch… amazing and loved their house dressing from scratch. It tasted like they used fresh tarragon. I’m impressed that they use sea salt in all their recipes. Can’t wait to try their dinner menu!

Though one of the better places in this area, my first impression is this chef is reaching a little high for the level and price point they are going after. I ordered the macadamia crusted halibut — the halibut was overcooked(tough and dry) without any sear(maybe the no-sear was intentional). The beurre blanc sauce was overly sweet — to the point you could not taste the butter or the wine, if it had any in it. On the other hand, the asparagus was not seasoned at all. I should have ordered a pizza. I also ordered a $ 65 bottle of wine and the waitress brought it out already opened and didn’t pour it. That’s a first.

Friends and family who live in town have recommended this place, and we finally had an opportunity to stop in. The atmosphere is very nice, the menu had plenty of originality and variety and our food was all very tasty! (We’d had a rather large breakfast earlier, so just opted for salads this visit.) The Kale Salad was beautiful, fresh and crisp with the perfect amount of dressing, and the Mediterranean Platter was nicely arranged, had a generous amount of items and was fresh and tasty. Both were quite large, well worth the price and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. These factors alone are deserving of five stars. The only reason I’m leaving four stars is because of service. Our initial server was friendly and attentive to start, though not terribly knowledgeable about ingredients or preparation. However, after our food arrived, she completely disappeared. I had also ordered a side of fries and asked her for ketchup, but after ten minutes we tried flagging down another server. The other server saw/heard us,(she looked up and made eye-contact three times), but avoided our table until my friend finally stood up and started to walk towards her. She appeared irritated and was less than polite when finally bringing ketchup back for my now-cold fries. I heard another table near-by talking about needing drink refills but never saw them get any. Our original waitress finally returned at the end of our meal and apologized. She DID offer to replace the cold fries, but by this time, we didn’t want to wait around for fries. Neither asked how our meal was, or if we needed anything further. I’m sad the service was less than stellar, because the food was really good(except the fries because I didn’t eat them — sorry, not trying to be picky but I like my fries WITH ketchup, and hot) and I think the«farm-to-table» idea has great potential. Lewis County definitely needs something like this and since we’re in town frequently, I’ll definitely stop in again!

Terrible service ! Short handed and just not worth the wait, my friend had a slug in her salad and they still expected her to pay for her salad ! I have been several times as I live close by, but I will never return, service has just completely went south! Nothing worse in a restaurant then terrible service ! Food is just ok. I have a lot of guests come from out of town and I would not recommend this place ! Sadly … I try to support local but just have to drive by now.

I really like these types of places. The vegetables are ways so fresh. Went with the Cordon Bleu sandwich which was really good. Five star worthy, even. My issue was with the service. It took over 15 minutes for me to be acknowledged after being seated, and the food was slow to come out as well. This was especially tough because it was lunch time, and I don’t think many people want to spend an hour on lunch. Great food, though.

The only reason they get a three star is cause the food was decent. The waitress was beyond rude. She forgot my toast. I tried to wave her down and my gestures went ignored. So I had to yell across the restaurant to her that she forgot my toast. When she brought it out she was like«it was nothing malicious I just forgot» instead of just apologizing. The cook was good and super friendly and tried numerous times to make that stuff was correct. We found out that the cook is actually the owner and he was super nice and apologized for her poor behavior, and told us he would talk to her about it.

A Good Friend and I Just had dinner at this place and the food is wonderful! The place has a Fire house feel and sits right next to the train tracks. I had the Cioppino which was a bit spicy and was loaded with fresh prawns, Salmon, Halibut, clams, and Mussels. I couldn’t stop dunking the grilled toast into the sauce. I wouldn’t have thought such a Great eatery would exist the middle of CENTRALIA, WA? I recommend everyone stop in to this place. ENJOY!

Long wait. Bland food. Uneducated staff. We were one of only three other tables in the dining room when we ordered and it still took nearly an hour to get our four meals out and one of them was incorrect. We were already frustrated and the food was not worth the wait. Very overpriced for simple food. I give this place 2 stars instead of 1 only because we enjoyed the atmosphere of the beautiful, old building and because our server(although young and clearly not well trained) was very polite and friendly.

I’ve eaten at Jeremy’s 3 times now. The first time was good. Overall I would say that the service doesn’t match the level of food that is served. They try, but fall short in the service category. The second time — they truly were overwhelmed with the amount of customers and the food, while it was good, was cold. The third time, while the food was good, Jeremy was ranting anti-government propaganda and one of the wait staff was so negative and said she’d be surprised if he remained open. In constant remodel and never finished. Sad, because it could be a very special place.

My wife and I have attended this restaurant regularly since it has opened. We accepted the slow and less than understandable wait times as there is a sign at the door stating«Please don’t be in a hurry, wait may be long». We didn’t mind this so much because the food was very good and worth the wait assuming the quality may be the reason for the wait. There are probably 2 out of 5 wait staff that are decent and do a great job. We have been left hanging at times as others have mentioned(refills, check, etc). All in all, it has been decent but longer than what you would expect from most decent restaurants. At any rate, the intent of this review is to hopefully light a fire under the owner to ensure quality and general stewardship of this establishment. In 2015, we have been there a handful of times and the food has mainly been the concern. I have noticed that the owner has not been there anytime we were there in 2015. In 2014, he was there every time we were there. I realize this is a small sample size but it seems that quality and care has gone down since his appearances has decreased. I did notice that he would be involved in the cooking and preparing for the times we were there in 2014. Now, it seems that he is trusting a mediocre chef(perhaps the one that showed up intoxicated whom was mentioned in previous posts) to handle what I believe the owner did a far better job at cooking and executing original dishes. Further, I noticed that the owner started expanding the restaurant by renovating the adjacent room which may have taken his attention away from doing what he did well. Quality and care as of late has not been good. It has been a downward trend from 2015 to present with a few times actually leaving satisfied with the food. We are willing to accept the waiting staff as is but, for the money, the food has not been what we expect in contrast to the execution when they were at their better times in 2014. The pasta and salmon dish used to rival that of Adriatic Grill in Tacoma but now, I am not sure that it is any better than Olive Garden on a good day. The fish was bland, flavorless and almost out of place(perhaps day old salmon or reheated?). Prime rib sandwich used to be awesome. The last two times I had it, one was an opened faced sandwich with a weird Cherry sauce on it and a tomato on top. Did not taste good and not as described on menu(being the only prime rib sandwich on menu). The second time I ordered it, there was more fat than meat and it was definitely no where near the quality and flavor as the first time. Meat seemed as though it was microwaved and not sliced off a fresh roast. The pizza used to be awesome but something in the quality of the sauce and dough has changed. More of a tomato paste than a sauce. All in all, the food just hasn’t tasted as good as it did. May be due to less presence of the owner whom we think did a pretty good job when he was there. The downward trend has us wondering what we are gonna get the next time we go as we used to experience quality and consistency. We hope that this place can get turned around as the effort is not where it can be or should be.

We gave Jeremy’s 3 chances before finally deciding to write a review. Now let me preface with this statement: there are not many good restaurants in Lewis County to choose from, so this is definitely in the top 3 for Chehalis/Centralia. However, that is no excuse for poor service. And Jeremy’s has consistently poor service. The atmosphere is fun, it has a casual intimate vibe with a country blend. The style is eclectic but sometimes the décor seems a bit off — as though they aren’t unified in the theme. The space is so large with concrete and brick but it doesn’t seem like there is a common theme to tie the entire restaurant together. Speaking of unity, as a farm to table concept, you would expect to have a more seasonal menu, information about where the food is sourced and the distance from Chehalis, and the organic/sustainable status of the menu items. Also regarding the specific menu, multiple items are crossed out and written in sharpie ink. Why not print a new menu if there are so many changes? It just seems lazy and lowers the expectations. The food is good, however we have only loved our food 1⁄3 visits. Oddly, several of our dishes have been greasy. The last time we ordered fried chicken, most of the pieces were good, however one piece was totally soft, soggy, and soaked like it had been sitting in grease. Again, things seem great, but then it’s just inconsistent delivery. All of this could be overlooked, because we do love the concept and care about quality ingredients… except the service at Jeremys is atrocious. Not just a little bit bad, and not inconsistently bad… but always bad. We have been abandoned by our server, talked down to, had our requests ignored, and it’s typical to be waiting for food or drink refills for too long. It doesn’t matter how busy the restaurant is, or isn’t, either. We have been there on quiet nights and still waited too long to get our server’s attention. If Jeremy can nail down his concept, share more information about his food sourcing, and train his staff better, we will return. Otherwise, it’s not worth the price or the drive.

Drunk chef. We came into Jeremy’s for a family breakfast the morning after Christmas around 9:20AM. The male chef was clearly wasted,(on drugs or alcohol) which contributed to the 50 minute wait to get our 4 egg scrambles. He was stumbling around the kitchen, touching food and dropping it. He spent a portion of his time on the phone. Numerous times he fell asleep resting his head on his arms in the kitchen. At one point he started punching the refrigerator and shaking his head. When the orders finally came out, my food was completely different than what I ordered. I ordered a spinach scramble and there was not a single piece of spinach in it. The one redeeming quality of this restaurant was the female chef who was forced the manage cooking the meal and taking care of the drunk man. After serving our meal, she dragged him out of the restaurant by his arm as he was falling over when he came out to talk with his friend in the bar area. The food was mixed– a couple okay entrees, a couple terrible ones. However, were praying we don’t get sick from the handling of it. Needless to say… We won’t be back and hope that drunken male chef won’t either.

Came back through town and made a beeline straight to Jeremy’s. Unfortunately, the French dip might prove to be our 1-hit wonder. The service was friendly but slow(didn’t take any stars of for that — as slow/friendly service would have been tolerable had the food been okay). We ordered a Kale salad with salmon. The salmon was tough and of cheapest sockeye quality. We asked for dressing on the side but were told the«toppings were already tossed in dressing» so we had to accept as-is. Sure enough: far too much dressing overpowered the taste of the salad. To top it all off — it felt like they forgot to turn the heat on. It was freezing — almost all of the guests had their jackets on. The piano playing in the background was a nice touch.

I really can’t say enough great things about this place!!! Only downside is that they are not closer to where I live!!! First, and most important to me is that they are majority gluten-free, and you wouldn’t know it by the taste! The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the horseradish was spicy and delicious. The salad was fresh, crisp, and tasted farm fresh! They also included a lot more items into a side salad that aren’t normally on there(red onion, broccoli, cauliflower). My husband ordered the apple fritter cake(yes, GF!) and I had to try it… It was AMAZING! Our waiter, Terry, was exceptionally friendly, courteous, and accommodating! He was knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on!(Particularly the cream of chicken and cream of carrot soup!!) The owner Jeremy was there and made time to talk to people and make sure they were enjoying their meals! When this restaurant says farm to table, they mean it! There is a mini farmers market attached to the restaurant and the chef actually comes out of the kitchen, grabs ingredients and takes them back in to cook with! It really doesn’t get much fresher than that! This is definitely a place worth checking out!!!

Atmosphere was awesome, and wait staff was awesome. Experience on the other hand was not that awesome, ordered prime rib sandwich and it took a while to arrive. After it arrived it the meat was cold so I sent it back. Second sandwich I received was undercooked and bloody, manager approached me and apologized and explained they had a new cook and that the meal would be on the house. That was also cool, except I left hungry because my wife and child had already finished when my meal arrived so I just ate a bit of it and packed it up. Food was okay, but it wasn’t that great of an experience. Honestly wish we would of just went to Quiznos or something. It is what it is I guess.

Had dinner here last summer after a long day at Olympic National Park. The building and space was unique as it has history to it and has now been refurbished into a farm to table restaurant. A live band was playing which did create a good ambiance. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. I had one of the specials that had a vegetable medley with salmon and my friend had the seafood stew. The vegetable medley had some not as common selections such as okra and yellow carrots. It was cooked enough to take on the flavor of the spices, but not too much to loose the flavor or texture of the vegetables themselves. Salmon was tender and cooked just right. My friend liked the flavor and textures of the different components of the seafood stew, but did find a considerable amount of bones in the chunks of fish. If I’m in the area again I’ll be sure to return,

Great food! Fresh coffee. Mmm. They allow pets outside. We sat on the front patio with our dog. Great little space! It was a nice day. The waitress was knowledgeable. She was friendly and suggestive of what was good. And she got our orders right. The inside looked comfy but very dark. I just used the restroom — which was clean and tidy. Looks like it’d be a great little spot to have a group event. :)

The best food! The best service! The nicest owner! One of the best experiences I have had in a restaurant ever. Don’t miss having a meal at this place if you are in from out of town. If you live here and have not been there yet, you have such a treasure right in your little town! I usually don’t ramble on about a place it I just have to tell you about my night here. I am in town for work and the team was working with this weekend were talking about this great place that we had to go because they had been a couple nights before. We got there got seated right away. There was live music that was fantastic. I did not even notice until later that the musician was actually blind. So impressive! I live in San Diego so the farm to table concept is something we enjoy there but I did not expect to find in this small town. My sister and I split a half size of the kale beet salad to start. Even that was a good size portion and SO delicious. I also had the vegetable soup which was so yummy! To drink I tried their spiked root bear float. SOGOOD!!! Dinner was my best choice of all though, the halibut was sweet like candy. You HAVETOTRYTHEHALIBUT! Okay, now to the absolute best part of the whole night. The owner Jeremy stopped by our table to make sure things were good. He showed us what the chef had made him to eat and we convinced him to join us. He was an amazing host and even treated us to the most tasty pumpkin cheesecake with walnut crust. We heard some incredible stories about his life and he even treated us to an opera song. Yes you heard me right. He sings opera on top of his charming personality and good looks. Just to top it all off he opened up his store that is attached to the restaurant to let us buy some dried fruits and canned goods. We all flew so we could not even buy a such as we wanted to. The dried plums, raisins, apples, and pears are delicious!!! This restaurant and this night will not soon be forgotten. You must stop and check this place out.

Truly a shot in the dark on a rainy night between Portland and Seattle… Thank you Unilocalers for the suggestion. Arriving less than an hour before closing, we were greeted and served promptly. Amazing draft beer selection and I didn’t feel like a freak ordering hot tea so late at night as there was a beautiful coffee bar next to the bar. Not in the mood for pizza as recommended by our server, we opted for the dinner special to share. Fresh vegetables were cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes exactly the way I love… pink skins and savory, and the gravy on the chicken… wow. The chef personally came out to see how things were. The venue is unique. Think open farmer’s market style with tables throughout and loft areas on either side that look down over the main dining. There appeared to be some remodeling going on to the side which may have been a banquet area. The available restroom that I selected didn’t have the lighting installed yet and was obviously in the midst of remodel, so they used string holiday lights… I even thought that ambiance was special. No more fast food or diner dining when driving the I-5 corridor. Absolutely worth driving a minute off the freeway and will actually be a planned destination stop on our next journey north.

$ 47 for two Sunday brunches. Crowded. Loud singing and music. Food was poor. French toast tasteless. Such a poor experience all around that I doubt I’ll come back to try the pizza or anything else that people recommended. $ 47 is a big price to pay for a very poor dining experience. If I could go lower on stars I would. So sorry. Unilocal should be ashamed for not posting all reviews. Most not posted are poor!

I was surprised to find such a restaurant in Chehalis! I guess my snobbery of Lewis County is unfounded! The menu was inviting and varied from salads to burgers. I enjoyed a grilled chicken Greek salad. Yum. I’m coming back for a burger next time.
