If you want to eat a mediocre Chinese American meal in an old call center next to train tracks… This is your place! With drop in «booth» seating and marks on the carpet from the cubicles that previously occupied the space, this enchanting restaurant features mystic music from a CD player which can almost always be expected to skip and then be paused… Leaving the atmosphere lacking. If you need to go to the bathroom, hold it and use one at a gas station. The mold around the sink will cause anaphylaxis.

I’ve been going to Ocean sky for several years now-the food and service has always been outstanding. Whether it be the food itself or the portions I have always left satisfied. Even though I moved away from Chehalis, I always make it a point to eat there whenever I am in town

Been to Ocean Sky, many times. Menu hasn’t changed in 7 years. Food is consistently good and the first choice of Chinese food. Favorites are always the Mongolian beef, sesame beef, and Kung pao whatever. Only thing here is that they are conservative on adding spices, spicy to them, means mild to me…

Had the vegetable low mein. An hour afterwards both my boyfriend and I have upset stomachs. We both had to stop at a gas station to use the restroom. I wouldnt eat here again. MSG is CLEARLY a main ingredient, here. Nope, nope, nope.

Been in here a number of times these past couple months and the quality of food, as well as service, keeps bringing me in. So when my friends and I were trying to think of a place to eat tonight I instantly offered this place, and we were not disappointed! Great food at a fair price. Fair because it is pretty low cost for the quantity of food served. $ 8 – 11 for a heaping plate. And the food is prepared and served quickly. The hostess and servers are very pleasant and helpful. All the food that I, and others I have dined with, have gotten have all tasted great! Not once have I complained about the food I was served. But to say their Lo Mein is «great» would be an understatement. The Lo Mein is phenomenal in my opinion; best in town, or neighboring towns. Highly recommend if you live in the area or are just passing through along I-5.

Great place for run of the mill Chinese fair but the lo mien is way above average. I was there today with my iPad but no wifi. Bummer. Won’t go back till they fix that problem.

I don’t know what Lee H. was smoking but he is definitly all wrong. My friend and I went for lunch, the picture on line was exactly what we got, chicken and brocalli. We ate til we were full, it was couldn’t have been more perfect, over half of my lunch was stil left. It was SOOO good. My friend had a beef plate and had the same experience. We had dinner for the next night. This came with tea and soup, the bill came to less than $ 12.00!!! Come on Lee H

Good quality an service in comparison to the options available in the area. Food is prepared quickly in sizable portions for $ 7 – 8 a plate. Inside is bright and attractive with wooden paneling and clean mineral table tops. Very nice family run place. Would definitely recommend for a quick bit to eat & to-go traveling up or down the I-5.

Stopped by here while driving from Portland to Seattle… it is a hidden gem. First off i know seattle and portland have great chinese food, but around here in the middle of nowhere… it is great. Possibly the healthiest and one of the tastiest i being to. The chiken brocoli is very good. The general tso chicken was not too heavy on the sauce… which made it good. Fried to perfection. If you are ever hungry on I5 and wanting a place to eat at… this is it. The hostess/owner is very nice and funny, hence why I gave this a 4 star rating. Sniff sniff… is that mint? Mmmm mint…

Ocean Sky is your run of the mill Americanized Chinese food joint, but they do a pretty good job of it compared to similar places I’ve set foot in. Hefty portions ensure you will be taking home a little white box with a metallic handle on top. The broccoli chicken was excellent while the other dishes I sampled(including bbq pork lo mein, fried rice, almond chicken and the egg flower soup) all paled in comparison. Overall, this is a good, cheap place to take your family on a Friday night or even to host a large group of people. There are better Chinese offerings, but this one is a favorite of the locals. Odds are you won’t find yourself in Chehalis anytime soon, unless you happen to live there or are stopping to gas up on your way to Seattle or Portland, but, at least you’ll be able to smell the nearby Chehalis Mint Factory when you set foot in the parking lot. Mmmm, mint factory…
