Same experience we have at most Sbux’s — a little bit of a line but not a long wait. One guy did go in there and order his drink barefoot… livin the good life. They have hot and cold food as well as snacks available. Didn’t wait long for our drinks even though it was busy.

Nice looking place in a great location. But their staff can’t make decent coffee, not sure any of the Starbucks locations can anymore. Tried to order a cappuccino. Served in a ridiculous huge cup completely out of proportion. Looked like grayish brown milk, not flavorful, not presented well, just yuck.

I used the drive thru. The barista was very nice. We ordered our mochas and apple juice. Always consistent with the taste from Starbucks, no matter where we are traveling, thank goodness!

I have been here a couple times. I am surprised with the low reviews and it seems the staff doesn’t really care. Compared to other Starbucks I have been too this isn’t the friendliest by far. But they were fast and drinks were fine. Never had a negative experience but never had a experience where I thought wow what a great friendly place. Something every business should thrive for. Confused but OK experience.

I was disappointed to see the lower rating for this Starbucks. We end up here whenever we’re in town, and I think it is a nice enough Starbucks. The baristas are courteous baristas most all of the time. This visit I had the caramel machiatta and my wife had the flat white. I would have rated it four starts, but the free WiFi was essentially useless as it was operating at a snail’s pace. I mentioned it to one of the baristas, and she said that nobody knew how to take care of any issues with it. And that she’s pass it along if she got any more complaints. Interesting response; wouldn’t one complaint be sufficient to ask someone to take a look? So I’m back to 3 stars. After all, I was there for the coffee, not for the WiFi.

I have never been to such a horrible Starbucks and I am a huge fan of Starbucks in general. I stood in line for over 10 minutes(with three people in front of me). There were 3 people working(on a Sunday morning) and they all moved like molasses. They looked miserable, no smiles or greetings, and all seemed pissed off at the world. When it was finally our turn to order, I told the gal what I would like, which included a breakfast sandwich. She stated really rudely, «I am JUST taking drink orders at this time». UM, what? I didnt understand so I said, «I would like a breakfast sandwich with my latte». She repeated«I am JUST taking drink orders». SO does that mean, you arent selling food for some reason? Does it mean you are incompetent and can’t take my full order? She was unapologetic, didnt explain herself, and rude. The entire process to order my coffee and be out the door took over 20 minutes. There were also homeless people SLEEPING in the chairs so we couldn’t even sit down and enjoy our coffee in the store. I will NEVER come back to this Starbucks. We ended up finding a cute little local bakery literally 100 feet away to the north(Lake Chelan Artisan Bakery) which had amazing service, coffee, and food. Skip this place and head to the bakery — you won’t be disappointed. This places needs serious attention and new management.

I see I’m not the only that had a terrible experience at this startbucks… that’s not supposed to happen at Starbucks but it did… Sunday morning in Lake Chelan, Golfers were lined up in front of me and behind me and my friends, which is great and this Starbucks should know this is what happens here… Golf! Some of the guys left without their coffees, I waited over 10 mins, lady putting food in glass shelves WITHOUT gloves, yuck! Rude people, all 3 of them. My friend’s coffee was nasty, we actually came back in and told her that we thought the shot of coffee had been from the previous order or something, super light, you could only taste the milk. She re did it and yep, you can now taste coffee. Just rude en general, no smiles, early in the morning, rude answers to all of us, homeless people using ALL the big chairs and couches in the sitting area, all were out, sleeping, deep sleep. Just weird Yeah… so we found a little coffee shop with amazing pastries and amazing service.

Glad there is a Starbucks here, 2 stars. REALLYREALLYDONTCARE that the barista was«TIRED» and couldn’t handle taking my drink order. Disappointed that the partners at this Starbucks seem as though they work there because there are not any other job options in LC. Get your S*** together, Bad drinks, bad service, bad Starbucks. That should NEVER happen at over $ 5 a drink. Urgh.

This has to be the slowest starbucks ive ever encountered. It seems the drive thru is the priority. Every time I come in there is a line to the door. I’ve just watched about 10 groups of people give up and walk out frustrated. Not starbucks brand at all.

This has to be the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Maybe I’m biased because I come from the big city where life is fast paced, but I didn’t have issues anywhere else in Chelan so I’m willing to bet this location just needs a better staff. Unfortunately, because there is only one Starbucks in town, they seem to think they can do whatever they want, even if that means making people wait for an eternity. I waited about 20 minutes for half my order, then an additional 15 minutes for the other half(this came after already waiting 15 – 20 minutes in their line out the door). Your best bet is to use the drive thru because they are forced to give you your entire order before they start helping other customers. When I received only half of my order, I finally asked a staff member if they forgot about the rest of it after about 10 minutes passing. They seemed very overwhelmed and continued to serve those who arrived after us. I had to ask them again before I finally got the rest of it. I only went there three times while I was in Chelan, but all of those times they were completely unorganized. I’m one of those people who need my morning coffee, but next time I visit, I will probably try one of the local coffee shops instead.

I have never had such horrible service at a Starbucks in my life. We waited in line to get our drinks for at least 15 minutes watching people who were standing behind us get their drinks before we did. When we asked we were told there was a line for just cold drinks being made. However cold drinks were going out left and right. Will NOTBEBACK.

This place has real problems. I walked in last Friday afternoon and there were about 20 or so customers just waiting around, many hanging around the pickup table. The place was really dirty with trash around. Like an idiot I ordered some iced tea. Then I waited and waited. After twenty minutes I asked about it and I saw that my order was still behind another 20 or so earlier orders that weren’t being made. I asked for my money back. While I was filling out the paperwork to get my $ 2.35 returned several people came and complained about ‘waiting for a half hour’. Seriously, if they can’t do orders they shouldn’t take orders from anyone. They need a sign on their door that says ‘abandon hope, all ye who enter’. For better service go to Vogue on Main Street.

This Starbucks has the worst service of any Starbucks I ever went to. Clueless staff, slowly made drinks, and a propensity for mixing things up. Do not go here, avoid at all costs.

The Chai was good, but this was the longest I ever had to wait at a Starbucks for someone to ring me up. I was first in line, and at least four employees worked on drinks for the drive through and ignored me for three minutes.

Never have been the biggest fan of Starbucks in General but this particular Starbucks has probably the worst service. The girl taking my order was very friendly but the 2 baristas making the coffee were oblivious to the fact that my drink order was waiting, and they were just standing there chatting, I waited about 5 mins before one asked what I needed…“um my drink would be great!” Then with a sigh and eye roll one finished my drink. I can say they lost my business from here on out.

Hold on to your belongings at this one. I have witnessed and heard countless stories of people leaving items at a chair to grab their drink from the counter only to come back and have their belongings stolen. The drinks are ok, and the service is great. Just a lot of theft going on.

Starbucks is a Starbucks and when i’m in the middle of no-where washington, in a tourist town and i can get my morning coffee just the way i like it, i’m a happy gal. Staff was friendly, resulting coffee was as expected. Location is cute, has a roll up garage door which would be nice on summer days! We were there over thanks giving and the sun coming in warmed us up nicely!

Wow harsh reviews from a lot of people. THe great thing about this starbucks is that it is employed by locals. And you are in Chelan! I mean sure most starbucks in larger cities may have better employees, but in a town of 2500 it is great that it can employ the locals to help out. If you are there in the off season, it is just as great as any other starbucks. If you are there during the busy season, what do you expect? Just like every other place in that town, its going to be busy and employees are working as hard as they can!

It’s a starbucks in a tourist town, not sure what anyone is expecting. It’s like any other ‘bux. Busy but average. The one shining light for this location is the building. We went in winter, but in the warm months the large doors open, and I bet it’s awesome. Fresh air, lots of outdoor seating.

My GF white chocolate mocha taste different than what she use to and she have it every morning. I think they might have put my non fat milk in it. The line was insanely long– it’s took us about half an hour from getting in line to getting our drink. The girl behind the counter was cute and friendly– they have about 10 people working this morning, but still not fast enough. One white chocolate mocha, one non fat latte and there pastries $ 14.00
