They were friendly, but I was not impressed with their competency, or possibly even their honesty. I brought my computer in for diagnosis of why it wouldn’t turn on. They said they would get to it in 2 days… by day 6 I started calling daily; and it wasn’t done until day 9. I was told that my motherboard and my power supply were both shot, and it would be $ 240 to fix. To their credit, they said that at that point, they recommended just getting a new computer; and he didn’t say that I need to get it from them. But when I went in to get my computer, his tone changed to one of salesman… he was certainly pushing a few products on me. I took my old cpu home with no service other than the diagnosis. I decided that I would replace the parts myself, and save $ 70 on labor. To be deliberate and hope against hope, I bought only a new power supply for $ 40, with a plan of getting a motherboard as soon as I verified that the power supply wasn’t the only problem. It was. New power supply fixed it. Motherboard was fine. If I had listened to their diagnosis, I would be out at least $ 170, and likely a lot more than that. I am inclined to give the benefit of the doubt, and assume that the motherboard just for some reason gave a false negative… but between the inaccurate diagnosis, and slow service, I can only give them 2 stars.
