This is my favorite restaurant for El Salvadorian food. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and there is a large menu. You’ll be happy if you try this place. I have been eating here for five years. In the winter I occasionally get beef soup which is outstanding.

If you order for delivery make sure you double and triple check the charges and check for scribbles and changes in the receipt numbers. I work in a business and we had been ordering from them for over a year. Not by my choice, but because of a certain coworker who enjoyed their food. At first, they seemed okay. They never provided an itemized receipt even though we always requested it. We had to call back several times about costs and to clarify how much items were. They prices rarely matched the menu that we had and we repeatedly requested for an updated menu. Nope nothing. Basically they never had good customer service and there was always a question about the pricing, but we never pursued it because it was by choice of my coworker. About a month ago, we got a delivery from them(our business is 1.7 miles away, or 8 min drive) and it was quite late. That’s fine, we understand. However the charges were very high. It cost almost $ 35 for two tamales(about $ 2.00 each according to the menu), two orders of nachos and a beverage. After we paid the bill and the driver left, we went through the receipt and menu again to calculate how much each person owed. We couldn’t get the right amount so we had to call back to clarify how much each item cost. We also noticed then that the final amount was scribbled and modified from what was originally written down. Well it turns out that the amount the restaurant was supposed to charge us… Was NOT the amount that was written on the receipt. There was at least a $ 4.00 difference in price. We reviewed a number of receipts over the previous few months and realized that almost EVERY single receipt was a few dollars more than what it should have been, with tax and delivery factored in(although their menu states NOTHING about a delivery charge). Upon calling the business back to verify costs, there was an immediate passing of blame from the driver to the person who took the order who was no longer there(???). Nobody could speak enough English to have a conversation with us about the receipt, which was convenient for them. No call back, no attempt to rectify the situation at all. In conclusion, it is extremely disappointing that a small local business would try to cheat the employees of another small local business out of a few dollars here and there over the course of a year. The attitude of the store may be «it’s only a few dollars», however when you try to outright cheat a REPEAT customer out of ANYTHING, it speaks volumes of your business ethics. Perhaps you should have a conversation with your driver about what prices HE likes to charge customers, as well.

I went to Rosticeria Cancun, Super Burrito, and here, and this place had the best, most SF Mission-like tacos I had out of the three. The meat was well-seasoned, and their green salsa was awesome.

i love getting take out from here — if i have time i’ll sit and eat lunch here. I usually get the tacos — they are very plain but good. my other favorites are the burritos and the Toston Con Todos… this is fraking amazing! A layer of steak, guacamole, and at the bottom fried plantains… amazing… definitely two meals in one and a trip the the gym… i keep forgoing the gym part… If you don’t speak Spanish, order right off the menu and dont get fancy.

The food in this little place is so good! They give you big portions. A must try if you like authentic food. Best horchata I have had and the pupusas are delicious! Place is very small– ideal for just take out only.

Pricing is great but they tend to delivery what you didn’t order. Not that customer friendly either when they make mistakes.
