Tedeschi Food Shop

This is my neighborhood Tedeschi’s Food Shop.
This store is alright. Not the best store, but not the worst either.
Selection. meh. Its a small Tedeschi’s so it doesn’t have a big selection. This location also sells beer so what little extra floor space there is, is taken up by booze. They also do T passes, Lottery, Western Union, and a few other services.
Location. Cannot be beat. Right in the heart of Bellingham Square in Chelsea. However, due to its downtown area, there’s no off street parking. It’s also right in front of a major bus stop (Routes 111÷112÷114÷115÷116÷117).
Prices: Its a convenience store, so its going to be pricey. But if its 10 pm and you gotta have something.
Staff. Staff are OK. Never a problem at all with the staff. Most seem happy (but annoyed at some of the patrons)
The main complaint about this store is that it’s pricey, but its a convenience store, it’s going to be pricey.
The minor complaint I have with this store is the patrons. Too many times I’ve been behind the lottery player who has to cash in 290 348 093 tickets, get some new ones, and doesn’t know what he wants for new scratch tickets. That and this store is a ‘hang out’ place for many. Many sit inside and play Keno or hang out out front at the bus stop. There’s *always* someone hanging out inside and/​or outside of this store. It can be sketchy at times. (but I’ve never had a problem)
Other than that, I’m kind of glad its there, where else can I get a snack at 10 pm in town? (It was extremely valuable during the Feb ’13 Blizzard (since it was walk able and open in the storm). So I’m going to give it three stars.
