Wild Bills’s Long Bar

Steve is the best bar tender I’ve ever had! He should be going places with the customer service and attention to detail he has. We only go to him for our Bloody Marys.

The new owners are amazing. The bar looked great everything was clean fun atmosphere. And with the Sun out the back outdoor patio is amazing, and if you listen carefully you can even hear the train go by in the distance.

The place to be in Cheney, especially during the summer because of the outdoor patio. The bartenders are so nice and attentive. The crowd is usually a mix of older guys just getting off of work to the typical college kids. Good selection of beer, pool tables, comfy couches inside and I think you can spin the wheel on your birthday to earn drink prizes!

New ownership… the service is consistently good, and they have even brought us a snack mix. Tonight it’s actually busy… a first for cheney at this time of the week. The bathrooms are always clean, as is everything else. Service is friendly polite and prompt. Definitely a place worth stopping at.

My boyfriend and I drove out to Medical Lake to look at a Craigslist chainsaw and figured since we were out that way, might as well swing into Cheney for a beer or two. I had some reservations as the town is mainly a college one and I didn’t particularly love the idea of sharing a bar with a bunch of young frat-​types but it was a Thursday around 5 so I hoped the crowds would be small and not nearly as obnoxious as I’m sure they can be.
We found some on-​street parking and walked up the main avenue until we spotted Wild Bill’s. There was a tall table with about 6 people in the middle of the room, a few stragglers at the bar and a few more in the back of the room playing pool. We sat at the bar and were immediately acknowledged and served by our bartender who was very friendly and attentive throughout the hour or so we were there.
I liked the décor and overall atmosphere even though I’m generally not wild about staring at taxidermy while I drink. Depending on my mood, I can end up in tears thinking the dead heads are begging me for help. But, they didn’t try to communicate with me this time ;) and my boyfriend enjoyed the naked lady pictures on the walls too.
Outdoor smoking and drinking patio where we watched a train frustrate 100 drivers as it went back and forth on the track which made for some laughs and the place had a clean bathroom.
If I’m ever in the area again (and sorry, Cheney, I hope not) I’ll def stop in this place again.

Good place to have drinks. Popular on weekends. Bad service. We never had the waiter come and ask if we would like another drink. I think they may have some sorta of force field keep to them behind the bar.
