I would say that this business deserves your support, but that would imply that it’s some kind of chore to support them. That’s not the case. One look at their varied and affordable selection and you will be hooked. I go to fruit box once a week now. You know those small plastic tubs of nuts, wasabi peas, dried fruits, ect, which you see at Wegmans or Shop Rite, which are laughably expensive? Like $ 4.50 for a small amount of chocolate covered raisins? Those tubs abound at Fruit Box, except they’re significantly more affordable, yet still of the same quality. And they have an extended collection of international snacks. So if you want to stock up on great bins of nutritious delectables or splurge on ramune and panda cookies, there is no better place I’ve found.

I am lucky to work just a quarter mile or so from Fruit Box. Any time I am entertaining, I love to stop at Fruit Box and get their fresh & awesome(or, awesomely fresh!) guacamole & salsa. Seriously fresh and utterly yummy. They have a mixed fruit salad that I buy often. It is $ 3.99 and totally worth it, with generous chunks of watermelon, pineapple, honeydew, cantaloupe, sliced strawberries and kiwi on top. FAR superior to the WaWa fruit cup, which for $ 2.99 only offers melon, grapes and pineapple. Also, WaWa fruit cups tend to be iffy on freshness — while they have an expiration, they are often ‘on the way out’ at date of purchase(from my experience). Fruit Box also has quite a variety of snacks, desserts and candies from different countries.

awesome! visited home again a couple weekends ago and my mom told me that the fruit box is open again. this place is super clean and dare i say, better? than the first store(more focused). mr. and mrs. kim were so cute when they were shocked that i moved away and that they missed me. they’re so nice they gave me free fruit! i love this place and wish they would open one up out here. go support them. honest people and great food. still fresh fruit, veggies and the best damn guacamole and fruit salads on the east coast.

I used to love this place. I probably still do, if I could stop by one in a while. It’s in the same square as my favorite vegetarian phở place, Phở Eden. And right near my friend’s house. Too bad I don’t live in the immediate area anymore. This place is really small, but it’s so clean and so well stocked. Not your average corner grocery or convenience shop. It’s basically a really large vegetable stand and it’s great. I remember I used to come here and buy produce just to experiment cooking with them, like spaghetti squash. Also they have an assortment of refridgerated goods and dried goods. No meat or fish, which is still a-okay by me! And the prices are cheap too. Not expected from a small store, when they usually run up the prices. Great if you live in the area, really.

Great quality produce and healthy snacks for less! This place has really fresh fruits and vegetables at great prices. They also have a variety of tasty, healthy snacks on the go. I’ve ordered fruit trays for parties here, which are always a crowd pleaser. I definitely recommend this place for quality produce and snacks!
