I recently purchased equipment to outfit my basement theatre. I decided to go to Hi-Fi Sales instead of one of the big electronic chains because I wanted expert advice, support, and fair prices for high end components. I was not disappointed in their customer service one bit. Nick was amazing. He put on a movie for my son to watch while he showed me numerous components. He stopped by my house to give me advice and tips for speaker placement and installation. When he delivered the equipment he helped me unpack it and set some of the basics up at no extra charge. There was a mixup in equipment that was delivered but he dropped off the replacement the next night. And he always answers my questions quickly and thoroughly. I would highly recommend Hi-Fi Sales to anyone interested in purchasing a/v equipment.

I first visited HiFi Sales last month whilst looking for an Epson 3D projector and while I had come to visit the store for 30 minutes, my trip turned into a 2 hour visit because the person I worked with, Joe A. was good enough to show me all your different rooms and answer my questions. However I was also made to wait for your 3D glasses to be found and then charged up as I sat in your first room(the one with the Epson 6020). On this visit Joe was extremely friendly and polite and encouraged me to become one of your many life long customers. I visited your store today and to say that I got the most disastrous service I have ever been given is an understatement. I would have probably got a better service at the Drive in at Mc Donalds. For any of you reading this, I will elaborate: I called in today, as I had had a good experience the first time around and figuired i would give the store another shot to see if they had the projector screen i was looking for. I spoke with an extremely nice gentleman who spent a couple of minutes on the phone with me politely explaining the different types of screens and the difference in gain etc. We then agreed it was best to continue the conversation in person at the store as at this point a visual demonstration would be the best way to clarify the differences and also determine the price point for the product. On reaching the store, I came across Joe A., it has been about a month and he asked me what I ended up doing with projector situation. I Politely explained to him that I bought the projector from a different vendor as I was offered the projector at a far better price. At that point joe’s entire attitude with me changed, it went from being polite and friendly to hostile and verging on rude. He told me that instead of coming to the store, I was better off doing my research online, even though it was suggested by the person i spoke to to come in. He hinted at the fact that he did not want to waste his time with me today and when i insisted that I made a long trip and wished to see what I was promised, told me that, and i quote«this is not a school, free of tuition», then went on to ask another much politer store representative if he was the one that spoke with me and found the book of screen materials he said he had never seen before. While he was asking the other representative about the location of the book with screen materials, he made sure to mention that I did not purchase the projector from them the last time as I found a better price at another place. I was very taken aback at the rudeness and when I mentioned that it was not relevant, he corrected me telling me that it is in fact absolutely relevant that I never bought the prior item from them as well. I was then given a book with the material and he walked off to tend to another customer. My girlfriend who was witness to the entire episode was absolutely horrified. This store is well stocked and i have spoken to some polite people at the store, however after todays experience I am letting people know about my experience and I would ask you to think twice, about this. The last time I checked, I was under the impression that a business had the best intentions for their customers not themselves. I am sad to say i went there with the sufficient funds to make the purchase right there today and only went back because i walked away with a good experience the last time. however after seeing this side to Joe, neither would i do business with them, nor recommend it to any of my friends. I am sure life will go on as usual and nothing will change, but that is the point my friends. Just give it some thought and good luck!
