Johnny’s Pizza

This ex-​NYer loves real pizza. South Jersey lacked real pizza; until Johnny’s came to town in 2010! Now I get the best pizza and Italian sandwiches whenever I want. The owners Johnny and Rocco treat you like family. Food is delivered to your table, it is always hot and delicious.
They are also very community minded collecting for local cause’s. Run to Johnny’s for your Italian fix today, you won’t be sorry!

Sitting in Johnny’s now, the food here is AWESOME! Hands down best pizza and sandwich shop on west side of Cherry Hill. I normally order wings or a cheese steak from here and have never been dissatisfied with my order. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Do not eat here. Ordered food from here and employees were rude and impatient. The food arrived cold (pizza), and the sandwiches (cheesesteak and meatball parm) smelled and tasted spoiled. My wife ate half and became ill.
Someone should report them to the Board of Health! STAY AWAY!!!

Delicious pizza at a great price. Can’t beat the lunch special, 2 slices and soda for $ 6! The owners, Rocco and Johnny, are both really friendly. Check it out!

The food actually isn’t bad at all. But here is why it gets 1 star.
My mother and I decided to order delivery one day. We live in the neighborhood and have been customers for years. We call and order one pepperoni pie (pretty basic) and fries. The man on the phone gives the total. We ask if we can pay by credit card. He takes our credit card number down, and then informs us that they lost electricity earlier in the day (this happened sometime in July), and that they were unsure if the credit machine would work. I asked him to call back and let me know because we didn’t have cash, credit was our only option of payment. We hang up. 10 minutes go by with no phone call. I call HIM back, and he says it didn’t work the first time so he asked for the credit card number again to try a second time. This time, I stay on the line while he tries again. It doesn’t work. He apologies, and so do I. I ask him to cancel our order then because we do not have any cash. He then grows angry because he apparently already has the pizza cooking in the oven. I then proceed to ask him why he would start to cook our order when he knew our only form of payment is credit and his credit machine wasn’t working? Mind you, it’s a simple pepperoni pie that I’m sure another customer would order, as it being a popular menu item. His response to me was verbatim, «Don’t you ever f**king call us again». *click*

This is by far my favorite pizzeria. Every time I’m in nj I have to visit. You can’t go wrong with anything there. This is a must try!

This place is a must try! Definitely my new go-​to pizza joint. I had a cheesesteak and a couple of plain cheese pizza slices. I highly recommend both.
Also, the guys working there were friendly and seemed to know the customers that were coming and going while I was there. I really liked the local neighborhood vibe of this place.

Really good food. My go to Pizza joint. Really good pizza and wings. Really nice people also. Always respectful. Take time to give it a shot.

The food is decent but you better have a 90 minute lunch break or have time to kill. I’ve been twice and the first time– pre cooked pizza by the slice took 30+ minutes. Then a tried a chicken sub a week later… the staff sat there on cell phones, smoked cigarettes out back, watched TV etc, while I waited for 35 minutes. Then they came over and asked if I wanted mayo. Food is a C, service is an F. I won’t go back.

My girlfriend and I are huge pizza lovers, and try new pizzerias all of the time. We tried Johnny’s last week, but weren’t too impressed.
We placed an order for a chicken bacon ranch pizza, sweet potato fries, and cheese poppers.
The sweet potato fries weren’t very good; overcooked and tiny portion– the menu listed only one size.
The poppers were very well fried, cheesy and delicious. Highly recommend.
The chicken bacon ranch pizza wasn’t cohesive– very strange combination. It was literally ranch dressing, very little cheese, and bacon. There wasn’t much chicken at all. The upside was that the bacon was actual bacon strips.
I’d go here again for the poppers, but not much else.

Friendly staff, consistently fast service, and the best pizza in the neighborhood. They seem to be a big hit with kids from the local elementary school. Our daughter came home talking about them after a classroom pizza party, so we decided to give them a try. Glad we did, they’re now our new favorite!

The owner has been a great supporter of the local schools. The pizza is solid with good sauce. I’d like my crust a bit thicker but otherwise very good. The cheesesteak here was also very good for South Jersey. Finally their grilled cheese varieties are very tasty. Johnny’s is definitely a solid go to neighborhood pizzeria.

Well, I’d like to be able to say the pizza was horrible, but alas, the crappy customer service kept me from even tasting it. I called at 8pm to ask if they deliver to my address. Curtly, the man on the phone says yes, but not for just one pizza. So we decide to order two, visit the website, pick out the toppings and call back at 9pm. Same man on the phone says, sorry, he’s too busy to deliver to me. And I reminded him that I called earlier in the evening and he said it was okay as long as it was more than one pizza. So he says he wants to close and that he never said that. Do I have to beg this guy to give him my business? I gladly took my business elsewhere. Vitarelli’s was happy to take my order.

The staff there is so friendly, helpful and professional. It’s a wonderful atmosphere where I felt very comfortable. The pizza is soooooo tasty!

Johnny’s is under new management. The place is cleaner and brighter and the food was excellent. I got a Italian hoagie with their homemade chips. I’ve also had their pizza and that was excellent to.
