This MAC was disappointing. No one offered to help until I asked, and then they said they were out of both products I was interested in(though they took such a cursory look that I’m not sure I believe the products weren’t actually there). The staff were chatting together and very uninterested in customers.

This review is solely based on my experiences with Seanmarie. she helped me over the summer when I was in dire need of a concealer before a friend’s wedding weekend. This past Friday, I had walked into the store very stressed out and in need of some make up help(I had work headshots in an hour and I looked quite dimensionless). Seanmarie’s shift was almost over but she stayed an extra 25 minutes just to deal with my make-up woes and concerns instead of handing me off in the middle of a session. She’s very dedicated to her inexperienced clients and makes them feel at ease while working with them. Just a little thank you for your time as the pictures did come out great!

some of the rudest employees ever. I went in to get color matched for foundation and concealer, the woman who helped me, I’m not sure of her name, was wearing a sun hat and sunglasses. I politely asked if she could at least take of the sunglasses so the color wasn’t different. she refused to and called over her manager and she said there is nothing she can do about it and that I should just leave because it was causing a scene. this whole time I was quite, I didn’t raise my voice at all. I told the manager I just wanted to get my foundation matched to which she said we don’t have your color. after that I just decided to leave because the situation wasn’t going anywhere and most of the other employees working that day were just standing around laughing. as I was leaving the store one of the employees said something along the lines of me not being able to afford their products and the rest of the people working just laughed.

I was in this store trying makeup for an hour. No one helped me and I was completely ignored. A friend of mine came in by chance and as we tried on and discussed makeup and beauty bloggers still no one came to help either one of us. My friend, her boyfriend and I were the only people in the store. When I asked an associate that was helping a woman who walked in(don’t know what she did special) I was answered with arrogance and a disrespectful demeanor. The sad thing is I’ve heard this same story from so many people. Shame on Mac for not checking up on the management of this store.

I usually go to the MAC store by my home at King of Prussia but was in the Cherry Hill area and decided to stop by. I should have just drove to KoP; the service is stellar there. I went into the CH mall MAC store to pick up two lipsticks. Walked into the store, was a little busy. Not too bad. Wasn’t greeted by anyone, the only one who did say hi after about 5 minutes in the store was a makeup artist in the middle of a session. I couldn’t find where the stock of lipstick was after looking through the drawers, so I waited in line since no one was walking the floor. After a family checked out and left, the Asian cashier didn’t even acknowledge me and walked to the back. About two minutes later she returned with a blonde cashier who just stared at me then asked if I needed something. Well, isn’t it obvious? I’m standing in line right? I asked her to grab me two lipsticks so she asked the Asian cashier to grab them. Now, in proper customer service, there should have been two scenarios… 1) She should have went and grabbed the lipsticks and had the Asian cashier ring the people behind me. Or 2) she should have ringed the two lipsticks and taken care of my transaction first and then gave me my lipsticks when the Asian rep came back. The Asian cashier returned with my two lipsticks and instead of ringing me out, she set aside the lipsticks and took the next people in line… WHAT?! Totally ridiculous. I kept my cool then the blonde cashier said that I was next, ha. So I go up to pay and while I’m in the middle of my transaction all I hear are the two cashiers talking smack about the family that left when I was in line previously. So unprofessional and rude. After I paid, I grabbed my bag and left… No goodbye from the cashiers. I spent years working in retail but never, ever treated customers the way I was treated at the MAC store today. This location needs to retrain or maybe even rehire the entire location; talking about customers is inexcusable. Instead of being professionals, the workers acted like catty high schools girls. Looks bad for the company. Will never return to that location, should have just gone to the MAC counter at Macy’s or something.

Unhelpful. I shouldn’t have to walk into a store and ASK someone to help me, especially not a store that sells expensive products. Save yourself the trouble and go to the MAC counter in Nordstrom.

I walked into the store today in need of major beauty help, and did not have an appointment. Even though the store was very busy, Ashley managed to give me a complete makeover & handle customers at the same time. She was the ultimate pro! Ashley did an amazing job and convinced me to stray from my normal colors. I also learned how to properly apply my make-up. I am incredibly pleased with the products I purchased & the service I received! I will DEFINITELY make appointments in the future, with Ashley, to have my make-up applied for special events! Everyone working today was very wonderful & welcoming even though they were all very busy with customers. They are also all gorgeous, too, so you know your going to leave there looking & feeling the same way! I highly recommend purchasing your MAC products here, as well as having your make-up applied for special occasions.

I had my makeup done over the weekend by Sean and he did such a good job. I was on my way to a wedding and everyone at the wedding complemented me. The only thing I had to do at MAC, was show Sean what I wanted and he matched to picture to a T. He was such a nice guy and also nice to everyone who came into the store. If you’re going in to buy makeup and you have questions, I don’t recommend going on a weekend since every makeup artist is busy with appointments. In addition, if you are scheduling an appointment, id recommend scheduling 3 hours prior to the«end time» that you have in mind. For example I scheduled my appointment at 12 because I had to leave MAC by 1:30. I went into the store before my scheduled time hoping they would take me early. Lucky for me, a bridal party don’t show up and I was taken around 11:40 am. MAC employees have to do makeup appointments, answer phones, check customers out and answer questions of all other customers in the store while they are doing your makeup so this can be time consuming. I have 3 more weddings coming up this year and I definitely anticipate getting my makeup done(by Sean) at least one more time.
