Moonshine Power Yoga

I’ve been a member for close to a year now– This studio is filled with love and passion for yoga– not just the physical asanas but yoga in all aspects of ones life. The instructors are fantastic and supportive– it’s a welcoming and warm studio. No one should feel uncomfortable here– it’s all about community and growth. The owner and teachers have created a peaceful haven here– tucked away in the short hills shopping center. You won’t regret a visit to this studio!

I recently stopped in to take a hot vinyasa class. The drop in rate is $ 15 which is what one would pay at any other studio for a hot yoga class. The studio has a huge room with wooden floors and mural on the wall. There are cubbies and places for you to leave your belongings at the back of the yoga room. I love hot yoga and the room was heated to 85 – 90 degrees. To any person that is hot enough, but I am used to practicing Bikram so I would have preferred the temperature about 10 degrees higher. The teacher led a nice flow. My body was sore the next day so that’s a good sign!

Attended a Sunday morning class this weekend and was really impressed. Beautiful facility and great instruction/​training. Really good workout. Will definitely be going back!

i have taken at least one class of other styles such as vinyasa, yin, and numerous bikram. I would not consider myself a «yogi» and have never committed to more than a drop in with any studio… until now.
i have taken class with 3 different instructors. Each practice varied, but i loved them all!

I took my first class here on their opening day & so glad I did. It’s been a while since I’ve practiced but since signing up for the new student special, I’ve been back 4 times and the classes & instructors don’t disappoint. I’m challenging myself physically and mentally after getting off track with my fitness and feel so great. (Bonus that I’ve lost 3 lbs in a wk!)
I like that the instructors aren’t just going through the class telling you what to do, but are very encouraging and positive and I appreciate the feedback and assists when needed.
I’ve recommended to several friends and hope to become a regular here. Location is also great and was much needed. The environment is calm, peaceful and inviting. Thank you.

What a beautiful space!
Moonshine just opened this past Saturday & due to the miserable ice storms today was my first chance to pop in & take a class.
Where do I start? First, they are located in the Society Hill Shopping Center, less than 10 minutes from my house — yay for me. Because they are in a shopping center, there is plenty of parking — no need to drive up & down the block praying someone is leaving so you can jump in their space.
The space itself on the outside is pretty low-​key, inside it is a soothing oasis of stillness & peace. I must say Moonshine is very well thought out. When you enter, there are cubbies for your shoes and a place to sit. When you enter the studio, there is a very large room all the way in the back for you to hang your coat so you don’t have to freeze by the door as you disenrobe.
The studio space is large and very pretty, decorated in a rustic vibe that really pays homage to the concept of ‘moonshine’. You could put a lot of yogis in this room and still not be on top of one another. There are plenty of blocks, straps, mats, etc. Lots of restrooms and space for changing in the back of the studio too.
The class I had today was at 9:30am, it was just what I needed before heading out to work. Lauren ’ s flow was traditional Baptiste style vinyasa & you will break a nice sweat.
At 7:15pm, this studio has the latest Sunday night class in all of South Jersey. Such a bonus for anyone who works or likes to practice to end their week. They offer a $ 39 for 30 days into package so you can try the place out.
This area desperatly needed a yoga studio, now they have a really nice one.
