Pottery Barn

I think I must have walked through some invisibility paint, or maybe got caught in an optical dead zone otherwise I’d have to conclude that the employees of this store completely dismissed me as I walked in the doorway. Maybe it was the flipflops? (Is there a dress code for afternoon mall shopping now and I missed the memo?)
Whatever the case — your floorset provided me with an environment that was beyond overwhelming, cluttered in ways that made price tags inaccessible and a purchase practically impossible. (I’m guessing corporate assigns these setups so no worries…) But more to the point, with your employees failing to care that I was stranded in the towering designs of your products, I really couldn’t salvage the effort to buy more items (I loved the coral sculptures and in fact, need 4 for a setup at my own work, but couldn’t get prices or any info so nix that idea…)

Poor customer service … but gorgeous goods for the home.

Worst pottery barn I’ve ever been to. Been shopping at pottery barn in PA for years and just moved to jersey and will never go back to this location. We came in to do a wedding registry and the sales person was distracted but set it up for us. Spent over an hour picking stuff and was given cards to send out. When I got home I checked it and it wasn’t there and then I checked the next day and still not there. I called and they couldn’t find it. Obviously from other reviews this is a very incompetent store. We were told we were the second registry that night– hope that one wasn’t screwed up to. Need to train people better or get people that are smarter and can do their job accordingly.

Awful customer service. When I went to make my purchase the sales people ignored me for 15minutes. Then I finally placed my order and they never called to tell me the delivery was in… And finally, when I went to pick it up they failed to mention that there’s a place to pull up & retrieve your order so I had to carry boxes through the mall. For such an expensive store, this store is a joke. I will not shop here again. Three strikes, you’re out.

Service started out slow. They were very under staffed for a Saturday morning near the holidays. Ed helped us and he was really friendly and knowledgable. One tip is to wait for a sale before buying here. If you can wait you can get a decent deal.

As a mid-​twenties male, I was treated as a second-​class citizen because I’m not a middle-​aged woman looking to buy a large volume. I was trying to exchange a defective gift, and the cashier was incredibly rude, wanting nothing to do with helping me. Will only shop at the King of Prussia Pottery Barn from now on, where at least the employees are pleasant.
