The Silver Diner is one of my go to breakfast spots. It’s close, has ample parking, lots of seating, a big menu with local food and great customer service. There are a variety of breakfast specials on the menu, and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried so far. My personal favorite: the porkroll and egg sandwich. Silver Diner is located right on 38 and sits in the same shopping area as Target, PetSmart and Khol’s. Silver Diner often hosts different events at their venue like car shows and school fundraisers.

AAAAAHHHHHHHSILVERDINER! Now that I’ve got that out of my system lol. I moved out of the area so I seldom get to go to Silver Diner anymore. I absolutely love it here. To start off with the service is always amazing. Very courteous and attentive and fast. But oh the food. They have a ton of local products that they use for their food and the menu changes frequently to reflect this. They have an amazing selection of both vegan and vegetarian items, and they use seasonal ingredients. I’ve never had a bad meal here. There vegetarian burger and vegetarian chili are the best vegetarian food I’ve ever had in my entire life and I’ve been all over the world. The food is just so spot on all around I’ve had so many things on the menu that I can’t even name them. Diner is kind of a misnomer for this place. Sure it looks like a classic diner setup but you won’t find anything generic or common. It’s over and above all the way around. Definitely stop in if you never have before or if you did before they switched owners many many years ago.

As tempting as it was to order the typical diner dish of pancakes, french toast or omelettes, I just had to get my bite at one of their brunch specialties. Ordered the Bison Huevos Rancheros [1]. My only major«dish wish»(I couldn’t resist) is that they served it with four tortillas instead of just three because the overall chorizo hash was super intensified with flavor, and given the size of the load a fourth tortilla would have been perfect to finish the dish satisfyingly and not feel overwhelmed. Admittedly, the tortillas were what sold me for this dish. Super large and lightweight so you can appreciate the chorizo galore all the more! Convenient location right across the mall and a friendly environment for any hangout(with 1 or more). Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. [1] Crispy multigrain tortillas, chorizo hash with organic bison, farm fresh Amish eggs over easy, peppers, salsa roja, scallions, cilantro, goat cheese, mashed avocado — $ 13.99(available 7 days a week)

I’ve been here ALOT. There’s a great variety of food, great if you’re a vegetarian, or going gluten free. I’m not sure if it’s paleo friendly, but, do know they have no problem making substitutions of needed. The staff of very friendly even when they’re super busy which is a plus. They’re menu is great! Try the chicken pot pie!

Retro décor done right. The food’s more highfalutin than authentic but tasty all the same.

I love this place! I’ve read such good reviews and when I was in the area recently I decided I had to give them a try! From the road it is a shiny silver, glowing beacon of 1950’s Americana. Inside it is spotless with smiling, happy servers and comfortable booths. The booths have a mini jukebox that you can pay to play songs from. As customers select the songs they are played throughout the entire restaurant. It’s a neat idea but if people aren’t paying the restaurant sits quiet and it’s not as nice. Maybe there can be ambient music when customers aren’t selecting songs? As for the food, I was quite surprised by their take on typical diner fare. The food is health conscious– if you want to be, while maintaining traditional items like burgers and fries. Many items have calorie counts and seem customizable. I was on a bit of a grilled cheese kick at the time so I ordered the Deluxe Grilled Cheese. There are a few cheeses on sourdough bread grilled to crispy perfection. It comes with a cranberry orange ginger dipping sauce which was unusual yet delicious. It’s a bit odd, but who doesn’t enjoy dunking a sandwich? Instead of fries I had the coleslaw which was light and tasty with crunchy cabbage and sweet-tart cranberries. I had also been on a brussel sprout kick and asked if the sprouts could be added into the grilled cheese. They did and it was great! If you don’t like brussel sprouts I’m convinced you just haven’t enjoyed them cooked properly! I ended the meal by sharing a brownie sundae with my date. It was above average for a brownie sundae but nothing spectacular. The caramel sauce happened to be especially yummy. I can’t wait to go back and try something else! Their breakfast items seemed rather special.

By far my favorite diner of all time. I have never gotten something there that I did not love… food is excellent as is the service. Friendly from start to finish. My favorite dish there is the mushroom omelette. The menu is fresh and inventive. Last night we had Cesar as our server… he was attentive and personable. My go to diner for sure… I tell everyone how great it is…

It was my first time dining at Silver Diner and I’m unsure if I’ll come back again. We were seated promptly by the hostess, shortly after our server came and placed our order. I ordered the Lumberjack breakfast platter. My first plate was horrible, my bacon was overcooked, my sausage wasn’t ready with my meal, and my food was cold. I was contemplating whether or not to send my food back or bag it up and leave. Kristen, took care of my concerns and informed the manager as well. She re-ordered our platters and it was way better than the first time. The difference in quality was unbelievable the second time around. Anyway, Frank the manager delivered our platters to the table and apologized, nice guy. He also made sure we were compensated for our food having to be re-ordered. I would like to be nice and say, «sh-t happens» and I think it’ll be fair to say it. They were apologetic and our food was good. Customer service was awesome even if the kitchen made a mistake; I won’t penalize the Diner with a below par rating because in the end I was content.

Definitely the best diner in the area, although there are a few to choose from none will come close to this place! Great flavorful food, friendly atmosphere with attentive, warm staff!

Oh my goodness, we ate there 2 times in one day! Their food is spectacular! Their breakfast egg sandwich special on an English muffin with bacon, was THEBEST bfast sandwich I’ve ever had! Did not even look at the rest of the menu for any other options. It was priced great for what you get! 2eggs cooked to order, choice of meat, and cheese. But it doesn’t end there, also, fresh, local potatoes, and a juice. For dinner, I tried their bison huevos rancheros– that was the best dish on their breakfast menu. So much better than the egg sandwich, and the egg sandwich was the best I’ve ever had! Try anything, you will not be disappointed at all! I can’t wait to eat there again.

I went to this diner a few weeks ago with some co-workers. I loved this dinner! Great food! I got the American cheese sliders with fries. The burgers were delicious! The ambience was cool, kinda of a retro décor throughout. Lastly, our server was very pleasant. I’m going to add this to one of my best Jersey diners list! :)

CANNOTWAITTOGOBACK! Their burgers & sliders were great! Service was friendly– and never a wait– which I love! Also, very reasonably priced. What is NOT to love about organic burgers– you TASTE the difference. Creekstone is absolutely delicious meat. I will be back to try some Philly cheesesteaks soon.

My friends and I came here on the drive home from Philadelphia, and we weren’t impressed. Anytime I do go to philly I stop here on the way home and it is usually very good, but this time not so much. They were having a car show outside, so the diner was busy and we had a 5 – 10 minute wait. Once seated to get a hold of our waitress was so hard. It took a while for our food to come out, and anything else we would ask for took a really long time. My food tasted okay, but I ordered a side of veggies and they were drenched in butter which was disgusting, my friends really didn’t like their meals either. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I’ve been here before and it was a lot better, so maybe they were just having an off day.

I went to this restaurant on Labor Day, driving home from Philadelphia. When we got there, there was a five minute wait, which wasn’t bad. We sat down. The menu is pretty big. It has a lot of choices. They claim to get produce from local farms, which is cool. We ordered our food. I wasn’t crazy about mine. I had huevos rancheros. It was missing something, and just not that good. My friends weren’t crazy about their food either. The service was mediocre. There were times we were looking around for our server. But she was very busy and it wasn’t necessarily her fault.

I’ve never had lunch or dinner here, but I’d endorse this place all the way for breakfast. I’ve been plenty of times and have always had good service and good food. Just recently tried the corned beef hash and really enjoyed that. The biscuits are seriously amazing here! And the country fried steak is very delicious.

I love love love this diner! They are not like other diners at all; they have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Their menu is designed with your health in mind. Great local ingredients, friendly staff. I personally love the steak and eggs! So good. Check this place out for a healthy approach to the diner setting you love.

This is my new favorite place. I usually hate diners because their food is crap… but this is the only diner I would go to like 2 times a week if it was in my neighborhood. Great concept, great service and great food! Their coffee is good too… which is a huge plus.

The food at Silver Diner is pretty good(your standard diner menu, a little smaller than most, but lots of «fresh» farm to table ingredients… or so they claim), but the last time I stopped by the service was terrible. It took our waitress about 10 minutes to come over and then another 5 minutes to even get us water. Location wise, it’s in the parking lot of the Target which is across from the Cherry Hill mall, so it can to be very busy on the weekends. Luckily the building is pretty large and I’ve never had to wait for too long.

Yet another time I wish that Unilocal!would give a ½ star option because I would like to give the Silver Diner 3.5 stars. This is really not a typical diner, it’s not really fine dining either. It is somewhere in between. Silver Diner offers a lot of healthy choices and low-calorie items and also vegetarian fare. It also admirable that they try to use local ingredients and farms and suppliers. The menu isn’t as voluminous as a regular NJ diner, but there is a good selection of options and this helps keeps the food quality consistent. We have been here a few times and everything has always been very good, tasted fresh and the service also has been terrific. On this night we had the grilled salmon and the bison Juevos Rancheros. Both dishes were very good and just the right size. We also shared a blueberry ginger milkshake which is $ 6.95 but it’s enough for two people. The prices at Silver Diner are pretty reasonable also, especially for the quality of the food. We also had a bread pudding dessert that was excellent. The Silver Diner is a great alternative to some of the restaurants at the Cherry Hill Mall or the food court, and it’s usually not as crowded as some of the big box restaurants there.
