The sandwiches are pretty good, even if they don’t have a lot of meat. The place is clean and bright, but the owner looses his patients if you take too long to order or if you don’t follow his ordering procedures.

I love pepperoni and provolone and the tuna. I have never had anything else. The eat in area is very small. Maybe 6 tables so it’s often full. They rush you through though there aren’t a lot of toppings for your sandwich but the basic lettuce, tomato, onion and peppers are available and fresh. Customer service is average if you are ready to order when it’s your turn. If you are one to think they will be annoyed and rushing you. If you want hot food tell them FIRST or they will get frustrated. It’s pricey. They charge for every extra. There was one in sewell for a short time. It didn’t make it BUT their service was much better and so was the atmosphere. I preferred that location.

The pretty friendly employees appear to be so ashamed of the pink slabs of mystery deli meats — What is «prosciuttini»?— and bland white cheeses that they try to obscure your view of them with a giant poster on the glass of their refrigerator case. Bread is baked there, it appears, but it is like a big cottony hamburger roll; not appetizing. Peculiarly flavorless food.

I havent been here in awhile but I remember their sandwiches were big and delicious! Not the friendliest place but hefty sandwiches!

The owner is like the Seinfeld soup Nazi. Nickel and dimes you on each thing on the sandwiches. The rolls suck. I can’t believe people eat that crappy so called hogies. The tuna is lousy despite what people say. Go to primos or phils deli down route 70 short bit.

Pathetic Cheese Steak. Honestly has to be one of the worst cheese steaks I have ever had. This shop is minutes away from philadelphia. It should be ashamed to even serve cheese steaks the way they do. Especially with the proximity it is to philly.

I have no idea how this was voted the best. Not being a resident, everyone at work kept raving about this place. So, I ordered a sandwich for lunch. The bread was indeed fresh, however, the meat and cheese portion was VERY skimpy, and cut almost as thin as a page out of the bible. I like a sandwich packed with fresh meat and cheese… This wasnt it. First time and last time.

Assuming that you order correctly… Hot stuff first, then sandwich by size and number, then cheese choice.(Example… Mini 14, no cheese, on white) Then you move down to the next person for toppings and the next person to ring you up. If this is not done correctly you get major attitude! But… The process works, the line moves quickly, and the subs are totally worth it! Plus I think attitude is fun

The best tuna in South Jersey? Ummmm no. First let me say, I’m not a huge fan of mayo(but I like tuna). I’m also a giant pain in the ass. If I gotta eat mayo it must be Hellmann’s or something that tastes like it. Yeah, this is definitely not. Took a bite and I was done. Although I have to say it was really white, so it was a good quality tuna, just cheapy mayo. The ham & cheese was just okay. The sandwiches are definitely not overstuffed(kinda skimpy), and the rolls were nothing special. Friendly service and they move really quick. The line was out the door, so maybe it’s me. Probably wouldn’t try them again.

FRESHBREAD, FRESHINGREDIENTS! The Boyz has been a local favorite for over 20 years. Favorites are the Tuna(homemade!), Cheese steaks/Chicken Steaks, Belly Buster(mixture of italian meats and cheeses), Corned Beef, Chicken Salad, and Smoked Turkey. The italian rolls are the BEST around. They also have amazing wheat bread and wraps. Recently named 2010BESTSANDWICH in South Jersey magazine!

Best cheesesteak sandwich in the entire Philly area. And everything else is great also. Meats and cheese are cut fresh. Tuna is out of this world. When in South Jersey, make a point to stop by and have the best sandwich ever!

ok, so they’re in the same plaza as the fruit box and romanza, but they rock. these three places are awesome! just went back there this week(to nj and philly) and had to get a hoagie from here while visiting the fruit box. got the italian and it made me realize how bad the subs/sandwiches in sf are. maybe b/c it’s not a true hoagie like you would get in philly. the secret is in the meat cutter thin sliced onions i’ve realized. mark(younger dude behind the counter) is the shizzle. nicest guy ever. they make one helluva hoagie. check it out.
