BEST salon in the Marlton/​Cherry Hill/​Voorhees area! Everyone from the front desk to the back is friendly and courteous. Very talented staff that is continuously educating themselves. My stylist of choice is Cindy Rone. I love the honesty that Cindy gives if a style I want will not work for my hair type of face shape. Jaime is my colorist. She is great with selecting hair color that looks great with my skin tone. Make an appt. You will be glad you did!

I made an appoint at Thriv upon doing online research and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m blonde and have had a very difficult time finding someone understands what I want and can achieve the look I want. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Yong and I’ve never been more satisfied!!! He is an expert with color and also does the styling which is another added bonus. Nothing worse than having to make an appointment for cut and color working with two separate individuals on two separate schedules let alone my own busy schedule.
I would recommend this salon for the phenomenal talent as well as the friendly staff.

Great salon, beautiful space, professional and friendly staff. Yong is the man for color and cuts. I’ve been going to him for years and wouldn’t think of going elsewhere. His color technique is perfection and his cuts are edgy and artistic. But I’ve also seen him create gorgeous traditional styles as well, so there is something for everybody. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Thriv is the best salon in the area, hands down.

I came in for a hair color. I go to another upscale salon in the area and I think they charge way too much for a single process. I was impressed after reading their Unilocal reviews. I was booked for a color with Stephanie. I have been coloring my hair myself for years, it’s just not cutting it anymore. The front desk people were very friendly and they have a much more casual and relaxed environment that some of the other über salons. Stephanie did a great job on my color and I got a great blowout with Stephanie L. Very affordable. I will definitely be back

Love! Love! Love this salon!!! My Mom and my sister have been going here for years and I figured that I would jump on board too. I am more than happy with the results! I went for a dramatic change and that’s exactly what I got. They have the best colorist & stylists around. Everyone is so friendly from the front desk to the girl that washed my hair. You can tell that everyone gets along and it’s like one big happy family there :)

I first came to Thriv after a botched color visit at a nearby salon which has since closed. I first had a color appointment with Sam who corrected the color in one easy step. She listened to what I was looking for and got the color spot on. I’ve seen other clients of hers request some unique non-​traditional colors. Surprisingly, she somehow made the color appear natural but still unique. I have never left her chair disappointed. After I saw Sam for color I saw Rob for a cut. My hair had been cut probably no more than a couple weeks prior at the previous salon I had been to but when Rob was finished it was evident that it looked and felt revitalized. I had no idea what I was missing before. Rob listens to every detail and offers suggestions based on the description you provide. He has never pushed a style I wasn’t 100 percent comfortable with. My hair has honestly never looked so healthy. Everybody from reception to shampoo is very friendly and have gone out of their way to make sure that I am comfortable. I have been returning every few weeks for the past few months and intend to continue to do so.

Yong does a terrific job with a cut and color. he is professional and the salon is one of the only upscale salons in the area where the staff is not pretentious. Try to go on a tuesday as fridays and saturdays are very busy and you will get better service on a slower day. I never ha

Stopped by this glamorous salon for an eyebrow wax — no appointment, disheveled after a long day of work, in a rush — yet I was treated quickly and kindly. My brows have never met such great service… I can only imagine how much care and gentle attention goes to other regions of the body.

I’ve never left Thriv disappointed. I’ve been seeing Lisa (my colorist and one of the owners) for well over a decade. (I followed her over from Salon Rouge.) I can’t express in words how amazing she is. Lisa’s seen me through my punky stages to my more subtle stages. No matter what color you’re looking for, you won’t be disappointed.
As for the the stylists, I’ve been to several and they’re all really good. Cindy does a killer up do. Kelly does great pin up bangs (think Betty Paige).
Thriv has even gotten me hooked on gel manicures.
I’ve sent countless people to Thriv over the years, and have never seen anyone disappointed. There are many salons in southern NJ, but this ranks #1 for me!

Thriv is a gorgeous salon with an extremely talented and friendly staff. Rob is a wonderful stylist for cuts, he listens to you, he is very friendly and relaxed, and he will give you an amazing cut! I have gone to both Jaime & Beth for color-​and both are absolutely amazing. At Thriv the colorists only do color and the stylists do the cuts. The owners of the salon are also stylists/​colorists there and they have created a very clean and modern space, but with a laid back and friendly vibe. They always have a great selection of magazines, as well as coffee, tea, cakes & muffins. Thriv also offers makeup, waxing, and nail services.
