I stopped in because I was due for a manicure and my gel polish was starting to fall off. The beginning was great. She began my manicure and did everything she was supposed to do. Half way in, I decided I wanted to get a full set. When she began to put on the acrylic, I began to notice that it looked like she had zero clue what she was doing. She began at the tip of my nails and then made her way up! At the end of it, my nails looked like one glooby mess. When I questioned it, she said, «oh have you ever gotten a full set before? Yes? Oh well you must have forgotten how it’s done» and then proceeded to tell me how after the acrylic hardens, she will file my nails down so they look smooth. It took the lady doing my nails and another girl to file my nails down and it took them over 20 minutes. When I also asked for her to cut my nails down originally, she said she would do it after the acrylic. Shouldn’t she have done it when she put the nails on in the beginning? I was floored at her lack of knowledge. This will be my first and last time visiting this location. It’s no wonder there were no customers there when I entered and left, at 6pm!

With a new owner, the store has a fresh new look and extremely clean. The owner was very friendly and made my first visit really relaxing. Most importantly, staff goes out of their way to make their customers feel comfortable. They did an incredible job with my UV gel set and I’m definitaely sold. This is one of the best nail salons in town.

Painted the walls and prices skyrocketed! Not worth it with too many surrounding nail salons… keep shopping!

My 2 best friends frequent Venus nails and recommended it to me. My mom and I went in, with an appointment, on a slow Sunday afternoon. From minute 1, we knew this salon wasn’t up to par, but we stayed to try it out. We both sat for our pedicures at the same time, and by the time my existing nail polish was removed, my moms tub was already drained and the woman was preparing to paint her toenails. Less than 5 min! This was for a full, $ 29 pedicure! No cuticles were cut, ingrowns were left, barely any sort of massage or exfoliation. Worst pedi I’ve ever had and more expensive than my usual spot. Now for the manicure, I’m now on my 3rd woman doing my nails even though I had an appt with 1 woman… Again, no cuticles were removed, manicure lasted about 10 min. When my mom and I would question the lack of work being done, they ARGUED with us and told us we had no calusses or cuticles?! Then when asked how much tip I wanted to leave on my visa, when she didn’t like the amount I told her, she actually QUESTIONED the amount of the tip! I don’t have 1 nice thing to say about this experience. My friend said her usual pedi at Venus is 30 min and they massage and dip feet in paraffin, etc… They obv treat customer differently. If you are looking for a phenomenal salon, try 4 seasons in Glendora. I’ll never stray from them again!

I paid top dollar for gel tips. They began lifting THEVERYNEXTDAY. By the end of the week, two nails had fallen off. Beautiful salon, nice girls, but obviously not trained properly at what they do. Severely disappointed.
