We went into Wholesale Mattress Warehouse based on the reviews we read on Unilocal and also google+. Purchased a Miralux queen size pillow top mattress. Delivery was scheduled for Tuesday and was free (for up to 15 miles). Everything was smooth up to this point. There was no sales push, no frills — which we appreciated. The owner was aware that a review was pending service.
Now, one of the major advertising points of Wholesale Mattress Warehouse (both on their website and in store) was that if you ever find a deal better than the one you received at the store for the same mattress or even one that was comparable, they give a 200% cash back guarantee of the price difference. In fact, they actually encourage their customers to shop around AFTER having bought a mattress from them.
Having paid for the mattress, we then went home and I, wanting to know more about the mattress we purchased, went online to read about Miralux. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that a mattress store in Philly (which had an online presence) was offering the same mattress for less than the price that we purchased it for at Wholesale Mattress Warehouse. We called the Philly store and they said that they would match/​honor their online pricing if we printed out the product page with pricing and brought it to their store. Their online website also offers free in-​store pick up.
So the first thing I did next day was go to Wholesale Mattress Warehouse to let them know of this discovery and inquire about their 200% cash back price difference guarantee. The person who was assisting us went to the website we had seen at home and confirmed that it seems that we were right. She tried to get in contact with the owner to request permission to issue the credit, but was not able to reach her. We decided to wait back to hear from the owner, and were told they will be calling us to follow up.
Shortly after, we got a call back and was informed that the owner was upset about the price difference and that they would credit the 200% cost difference, but delivery was no longer offered (this was fine with us as we owned a truck and could transport the mattress ourselves).
We had a choice then to (1) either cancel the order or (2) receive the 200% cost difference with no delivery. After talking it through with my husband, we decided to cancel for the reasons below:
— Despite acknowledging the legitimacy of our discovery, we felt that the owner was reluctant to credit the 200% cost difference although it was a major selling point in their advertisement if such an occasion were ever to arise. Our cancellation meant that the company would not lose extraneous money (as the guarantee was 200%).
— We felt that it was unprofessional to have the customer feel the frustration that such a discovery was made (the fact that another company was able to offer the mattress at a lower cost). If anything, this feeling should have been reserved for discussion among members of the company and not its patrons/​customers.
So…do price shop around, particularly if you are in the South Jersey area and looking purchase a Miralux brand. The prices at Wholesale Mattress Warehouse ARE reasonable especially in light of the cost bigger chain stores charge, but there are places out there that may charge less based on what you may be purchasing.
The 3-​star rating is primarily influenced by the way they handled the situation in letting the customer «feel”/be aware of the «upset» conditions felt by the company on a guarantee that is strongly marketed in their stores and on their website. I do want add that the person assisting us was apologetic. She was merely relaying what the owner was expressing should be communicated to us.

I was looking for a mattress in the Cherry Hill area for a long time. Wholesale Mattress Warehouse has the cheapest mattresses around with the same quality as other stores. Excellent service and fast delivery! I was very happy with the clean store and the fact that I wasn’t pressured from anyone. I was able to look around without someone hovering over me. Will absolutely be going back for more mattresses and a memory foam pillow!

After searching all over South Jersey for a twin-​XL bed for my college apartment my Dad and I decided to try one last place. We went everywhere from Sleepy’s to The Dump and they all offered us twin-​XL beds for the same price as a Queen sized bed ($ 600+)
As we walked into Wholesale Mattress Warehouse we were warmly greeted and not bombarded like we previously were at other mattress stores. The prices were excellent and half of what we were expecting to pay. I found a mattress that I liked and the owner said that she would try to track one down in the unusual size that I required. When the mattress I originally chose was not available the owner called around and found a similar one in the size I needed and we had the bed within a week!
Overall great experience… excellent customer service, unbeatable price, and clean store!
