We’re big fans of this place. Great selection of wines, in particular. Knowledgable staff are happy to offer a recommendation or assistance. Shelf tags with ratings and food paring recommendations are helpful. Very competitive pricing. Super convenient. Highly recommended.

Kudos to management… they’ve always been able to order wines with a 2 business day turnaround time when its not in stock or if they don’t stock it. The staff has always been helpful as well.

Wine Legend is a pretty good alternative to the Wegman’s beer and wine shop across the street. The store is essentially a large open warehouse with many aisles of wine to choose from. The beer is in the back left corner along the wall and along the back in the refrigerators. Overall the beer selection is pretty diverse and the price is decent. The cashiers didn’t seem as knowledgeable as Total Wine down the street, but if you know what you’re looking for, this is a good spot.

A good selection of wine and good prices. A lot of imported wines at cheap prices. I like the wine legend in Audubon better.

I have purchased wine from them over the internet for their«deal of the day.» Both times the wine was spoiled. I now know why I was getting such a good deal. BUYERBEWARE and do not buy wine from them over the internet.

Wine Legend is definitely a cut above most ordinary liquor stores. They have a lot of great prices on highly rated bottles of wine on the lower end of the spectrum; however, Wine Legend lacks a diverse and/or numerous top flight wine selection, which is unfortunate. Definitely my second choice liquor store in the area — and definitely better than anything you could possibly find in Philly so if you’re on your way back across the bridge on RT70 — make the U-Turn(use the jug-handle the thing on the side of the road ;-)), it’s worth it.

It’s mixed bag here. We call this the«scary» liquor store because of the general wackiness we experience. Parking lot is awkward and the store feels like an abondoned Pep Boys. Not nearly as nice as Wine Works or Total Wine in terms of aesthetics, lighting or service, but we go to find some items that the other places don’t(bigger bottles of microbrews).

At first glance, Wine Legend is a wino’s dream come true. The store, or shall I say warehouse, is enormous and features aisles and islands and endcaps of vino, at a significant savings compared with the local competition. The proximity to my house made Wine Legend my go-to spot for whenever I needed to stock up on adult beverages. When I eventually noticed the solid selection of brew along the back wall of the store, I figured I was all set. Unfortunately, I’ve picked up at least two bottles that tasted off when I got them home: Saison DuPont on the first occasion and, coincidentally, Avril(also by Brasserie Dupont) on a separate occasion months later. These bottles don’t come cheap and I definitely will not be taking a chance on suds at this particular store in the future. For the occasional tailgate, cases of Bud Light and other swill have always been fine.

This«warehouse» style liquor store is the best. if you’re looking for a diverse range of wines, you will not find a better spot. They also carry distilled liquor and beer, but it’s the wine selection that brings me there time and time again. Everything from a «value» wine at $ 6.00 to high end private reserve selections in a «no frills» setting. You won’t be disappointed(I know it must be good because I often see PA license plates in the parking lot).

This place has pretty good prices and a moderate selection of wine, I can’t really say how good the wine selection is, but I can always find something I like. The beer section has a good selection, lots of six packs and many good beers available in cases, though not cold. In the back they have a bunch of micros, and they have a pretty good array, the options are always changing back there, but it looks like they are starting to carry a wider variety these brews.

«This is where I stock up on my supplies…» said the alcoholic in denial. Sure it’s about a 20 minute drive into Jersey, $ 3 toll to get back to Philly and flow in traffic with Jersey-ites but it’s so worth it. They have hundreds of wines to choose from dozens of areas such as Spain, Italy, France, Argentina, California* etc. They even have organic wines for all you pansies out there. They also sell miro and imported beer, mixers, hard alcohol and there are even sections for Japanese/Chinese/Korean alcohol. They even have carts for you in the front to make your shopping trip even lighter. If you are on the way out to a snazzy BYO, they have a sweet selection of chilled beers/wines in the back. Living in PA, the only things I love more than buying all my alcohol needs under one roof is buying alcohol at the grocery store and bacon.** While they don’t carry everything under the sun, there is still a very wide selection of alcohol at the best prices in the area. They also have random sales on wine and no they are not always rubbish wine. These sales can only be enjoyed if you’re a «club member» meaning you give them your email/address and they give you a little barcode-keycard. This is the only place go to stock up on wine and I usually leave with a case or two. I am not an alcoholic. *What? CA isn’t a country? Cause it looks bigger than Italy on google maps. **Whoever took away the rights to allow a store in PA to sell both wine and beer needs to never be allowed to eat bacon again… unless they’re already dead, then… well. there’s nothing I can do about that.

wine legend… the name says it all. this place is HUGE and you’ll find some of the best prices around. there’s this cool guy — he may be the owner — who knows everything and will make recommendations and help you find the perfect bottle. they’ve also got great prices on kegs, and they have beer and liquor as well. woop woooooooop!

I kind of crack up about the name for whatever reason. Anyway. This place is now our primary provider of alcohol for a couple of reasons. First is it’s proximity to Wegman’s. Now we can go there, do a U-turn on route 70 and do some grocery shopping. Not only that but because New Jersey is only half-way puritanical, we can get not only wine but beer in the same place! As unholy as that is, that fact alone is a reason to do alcohol shopping across the bridge but it gets better. Cases of beer are on average 10% cheaper than at Philadelphia beer distributors. The wine is also cheaper than the state run alcohol by 20%. Not only that but they have a club card that you can just say you have and they ring you up regardless. They have a pretty wide selection of wine and beer but even we’ve gotten a little tired of the selection.

Based on the exterior, I wasn’t expecting much from Wine Legend. The fact was, at 5:00pm on Valentine’s Day, I was left with just an hour to get some alcohol, get home and get cookin’, so I would have stopped in anywhere. The inside, though large, seemed a little shabby. Upon entering I noticed piecemeal rugs and a stack of empty boxes. I found their wine isles a little hard to navigate. Although the signs listed different types of wines, the bottles did not seem to be arranged accordingly. However, my mood lightened a little when I stumbled upon the wine tasting they were doing in the middle of the store. I was able to sample 3 different reds and ended up purchasing one of them. There were several registers open to accomodate the Valentine’s Day rush. A customer who claimed his bottle was priced lower on the shelf than it rang up at the register was refunded his money even though the manager explained that the man was looking at the wrong size. When I started writing this review last night, the mixture of cold medicine and pinot noir made me click 4 stars. Upon rereading what I wrote this morning, I’m going with 3.
