Loveland Labs

This breeder is not someone I would ever trust again. I actually read a bad review about Jim, but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. His communication with me was mostly lies, followed by him avoiding my calls, and then finally (after not answering my call for weeks) Jim telling me there was not actually a litter. I was out $ 100. I wrote a review, before, to let people know about my bad experience. Jim read my review, then after reading it, he called to tell me that it was a mistake and he was sending me back my money… that was over a year ago, and guess what? No money from him ever made it back to me. He has plenty of lies and excuses, but don’t be too sure you will get an actual dog from him.

This is a scam!!! Sent $ 100 last November. First was promised a dog in Feb, then the litter (apparently) didn’t take. Then was promised one in April, and (apparently) a dog of our color choice wasn’t born. Then was promised a dog in December & was promised to be placed in both pending litters. Again, no dog. I also should note, that Jim never contacted me with any info. The only time I heard from him, was if I contacted him first. Takes a real jerk to take $ 100 from a family, and from 2 children looking guard to being a dog.

I just picked up my female, chocolate lab a few weeks ago. A beautiful puppy with a mellow temperament. Jim at Loveland Labs was honest, upfront, informative and a pleasure to deal with since the beginning of the puppy adoption process. I highly suggest anyone looking for a quality English Lab check out Loveland Labs outside of Rockford, IL!

We got a great chocolate lab from Loveland Labs. He has been such a good puppy and has a wonderful temperament. He is learning quickly which is another bonus. Jim has been pretty easy to work with, although there was some communication issues in the beginning but he really seems to care about his puppies. When picking up the puppy to take home, Jim has a thorough process to ensure that everyone is on the same page and a contract. He has followed up a few times since we have brought the puppy home to see how things have been going. We have registered him AKC without any problems. All’s well that ends well.
