So far I like the atmosphere and the type of food they serve. I can’t say that I agree with some of the pricing for what you get. I grew up around the lady that owns this place. Her family goes to the same church that my family goes to. When we came in, she seated us herself but I’m not sure that always happens. I had the shrimp pasta and it was okay. They could have put more shrimp on it and removed the tails. The picture I took was after I removed the tails from the shrimp and took off the garnish and lemon wedge. The sauce has red pepper flake in it and I don’t agree with that. I don’t think pasta should be spicy. I wasn’t raised on any spicy Italian food. They should definitely get rid of the red pepper flakes and put some zucchini, spinach, broccoli, or all of the above in it. They have a salad bar but it is just iceberg lettuce, various dressings to choose from, and then different salad toppings like tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, etc. Then they had cottage cheese, pasta salad, pea salad, and beets. My mom and my aunt shared a half of Family style white fried chicken and had salad bar too. They loved their chicken and the mixed spaghetti and tortellini that come with it. I think almost everything on the menu comes with salad bar and you get a bread basket with butter and crackers too. I had a Grey Goose and cranberry and it was $ 5 and small(like triple shot type glass) and that was disappointing to me because I can get one in a tall glass(like what you would get draft beer in) in my hometown for the same price and Cherry is an even smaller town! I’d like to try some of their appetizers and maybe see if I can find a drink there that is a better deal. I’ll go back sometime and see if I like their chicken or maybe fish. They both looked good.
