Applebee’s

Car side to Go is SLOW! Waited 15 minutes to receive food that should have been ready prior to my arrival. I only ordered a burger, not like my order was huge. Was one box in one bag.
Server did not bring out credit card slip initially when she brought food; she had to go back in and retrieve it. Sorry I added the tip when I ordered. Can I charge them for the fuel I wasted idling while waiting?
Very inefficient service; will likely not use this service again.
Also ordered a burger «with pink» and it was so well done it was crispy! Ugh!

Service was fast. Their Sriracha Shrimp is really good! I order it every time I’ve eaten at this location. Waitresses are friendly. Good was really good. This area of Chesapeake is coming up slow so the place was never packed any time I’ve been. I’d definitely go again. I’ve been here four times already and I’ve never had a bad experience.

This Applebee’s is right down the street from our house and it used to be our go to place to eat. There was about a 6 month span where our food would come out wrong every time and we ultimately just stopped going.
Because of convenience we decided to go back and take advantage of half price appetizers and we love the boneless wings, but that’s about it.
This place has just really gone down hill, it used to be an awesome place to grab dinner but now its just a disappointment.
However, you must ask to sit with Ms. Antoinette. She’s usually in the bar, but we love her and have gotten to know her very well. She’s very attentive and knowledgeable about everything.

I’ll give them a solid four. We stopped going for several years but recently have gone here a few times in the past couple of months.
I’m not sure if it’s their new menu or possibly new management. Regardless, the food and service have been surprisingly decent the past few months.
Hopefully they keep doing well and our received service remains great.

Wish it was possible to give them a zero. Our food was cold, and the service was rude and unprofessional. There was a family in there with multiple screaming children, so the staff just kept turning up the music louder and louder to drown them out. It was SO LOUD IN THERE! There was nothing relaxing about our dinner/​It was also quite chilly in there.

In short. Horrible experience I have ever had in my life. Hair in my food. Will never come here or recommend anyone to dine in this establishment again.
Full review:
I was with my family and some of my aunts trying to enjoy the night by eating here. The waitress took a while to get our drink orders, but I thought nothing of it. We ordered and it took more than 40 minutes until we received our meals, and we received each of our meals at different times. I was the last one who received a meal at the table, which I was okay with as long as my family ate first. Once I got my meal (The 3 or 4 Cheese Penne Pasta with Chicken) I noticed with my third bite that there was a long strand of hair in it. I notified the manager and the manager personally told me that she would cook it herself and that everything would be alright. I told her I didn’t want another one but she deeply insisted that I receive the same meal I ordered that she will personally prepare. I told her fine, then had to wait another 10 minutes just to find out that the new entrée I just received had another long strand of hair in it. I was completely furious and was extremely unsatisfied with the service, the food, and the manager. I ended up going some where else when I dropped my family home but changed my mind because of the thought that I ate human hair. I took a picture of the strands and it will be tagged to this Applebee’s location. I strongly suggest eating else where.

This was my first time visiting this location. It’s sorta tucked away. But I found it.
I actually was looking for another restaurant, but to no avail, I ended up here.
I haven’t been to Applebee’s in a long time. And looking over the menu I see why. The menu is just blah… nothing exciting to try here! Nevertheless, I created my own meal and was happy.
The service was cool not over the top by any means.
It was only 50 people present (not including the staff). So it was a slow night for them. At about 9pm on a Friday night I thought some action would be going on… no loud chatter at all!
Anyway. The food was good, but not good enough for me to rush back anytime soon. What I ordered I can have a greater dining experience elsewhere for less cost.
They do have a full bar and TV’s present.
The restroom was clean.
Usually manager’s come around to check on the guests… but not this time.

If you must go… go! But don’t say I recommended it :)

I ordered an appetizer sampler platter to share with my husband for dinner and he had the chicken fajita roll-​up. We ordered this food to go, after being put on hold for several minutes. My husband said his roll-​up was fine, but the sampler platter wasn’t! There was no salsa served with the quesadilla. Speaking of the quesadilla, three pieces of it had nothing more than cheddar cheese in it. One piece had what I think was a little piece of bacon. At first I thought they just made a plain cheese quesadilla by mistake but the little piece of bacon makes me think they got lazy and just didn’t care. Salsa would have helped it slide down better because it was so dry, but like I said, they didn’t include salsa. The other big «surprise» was instead of the spinach artichoke dip, I got what looked like white cheese dip with pico de gallo in it! What the heck? I didn’t order that! It didn’t taste good, either. It kind of defeats the purpose of having fresh tomato, cilantro, onion, etc. of pico de gallo by dumping it in hot cheese sauce. It was disgusting. The cheese sticks were okay. The boneless hot wings were acceptable but were again very dry. I’d like to say this was the first time I’ve had a problem with this particular Applebee’s but it’s not. I ordered a club sandwich once before and got home, started eating it, and realized there was no bacon on it! It was a club sandwich for God’s sake! Enough said. From now on, I’ll just cook at home.

We tried the Pick n Pair lunch menu. We both enjoyed the French Onion soup. She had the Oriental Chicken salad and for me the Classic Clubhouse Grille sandwich, which is actually just half of a sandwich. I wonder what they do with the other half? Yes, it lived-​up to the menu description, being «piled high». So high that I went straight for the fork and knife. You know, like Randy Jackson says: «it was just okay.» I can’t get past this feeling that I don’t get my money’s worth at Applebee’s. The Pick N Pair lunch for two was, all told about $ 22 after iced teas (which were very good) and tip, I felt that we could have saved a few bucks on a quick lunch down the road at McDonalds.

Take out service sucks. Always wrong and cold. Terrible food!

Terrible to say the least. It looks like all the Applebee’s have gone downhill no matter which one I go to, I’ve not gotten what expected.

Tried this restaurant out on a Sunday afternoon about 430pm. Service was superslow as the waitress kept disappearing… There were a total of 8 tables in the whole place that had people sitting in them, and we were the only table in her section. We had to flag down to other waitresses just to find our waitress.
Ordered something plain and simple right off of their 2 for $ 20 menu that should have been easy for them to make since they do quiet a bit of them. Buffalo Wings, Riblets, and the Fiesta Lime Chicken.
The Buffalo Wings were the only thing that tasted as it should. The Riblets were charred beyond cooking, and they even had the nerve to put a huge chunk of charred riblets on our plate instead of cooking another one. The chicken was cold on the insides, it was as if the only thing they did was place cheese on the top and melt it.
