If I could give this place a minus five I would. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. When I first walked up to the make up counter there was a lady standing there. I asked if they carried channel or Dior and she exclaimed NO with an eye roll. I asked if there was other lips sticks than Matt finishes and she told me to look around. Then she walked away. I looked around and found two I liked and it took an act of God to get someone to wait on me. That lady could only find one of the glosses behind the counter and no wonder so nice it looked like a bomb went off there. It took 45 minutes to get one lip gloss. The clothing department was even worse. It took me 10 minutes to find a jacket and 30 to check out. The jacket was miss marked and supposedly more expensive than what was in the tag. The lady told me if I wanted a discounted price I needed to fill out a credit application. Hmmm. You want to know Macy’s is doing poorly in sales this year? Because their employees don’t want to sell anything! Lazy, crooked, ill tempered, and did I mention LAZY? I will NEVER make the mistake to walk through Macy’s doors again. Off to Nordstrom!

There is absolutely no excuse for the condition of the bathrooms in this store. The toilets were unusable and I would need a tetanus shot just for using them. My toddler granddaughter wouldn’t go near them. The floor was covered in trash and filthy. Macy’s 50 year reputation was built on a quality store. Get it together Macy’s. Replace the toilet seats that are worn and peeling. Fix the disabled bathroom attention button. For heavens sake CLEAN the bathroom!

This by far is not the best Macy’s in the area. The cashiers are never around… definitely not plentiful! The selection of items… just ok. In comparision to other locations within the 757… this definitely ranks at the bottom. I love Macy’s …I really do, but here the store can definitely use a face lift on the inside!

This is a very nice department store located in Chesapeake Square Mall. Actually it’s probably the nicest store in this mall right now. I always enjoy going into Macys for an hour or two of shopping because they carry so many different items. I buy a lot of shoes from this location because they are so helpful in this department as well as the shoes being very reasonably priced. My mom’s favorite thing to shop for here is purses, they have a great purse/handbag/tote selection here. Though I’m a little too old for the ‘junior clothing’ section these days, I still enjoy browsing the Macy’s junior department. They tend to have really cute dresses and shirts here. They have a nice customer relations department at this store as well and they have always been more than willing to help me if I have a return or exchange.
