GREAT JOB!
I got estimates from several companies for my friend in VA Beach. She needed a large white oak tree trimmed for safety.
Brendon’s estimate came in 44% lower than the lowest other estimate! WOW! I was concerned about that because I just wondered how it was possible that he could get the job done so much cheaper than the rest. One other thing I noticed was that, when I mentioned wanting the tree «topped», Brendon was the only one who volunteered information about topping being unnecessary and possibly harmful to the tree which could also ultimately be dangerous to the house. It weakens the newer growth by as much as 50%, thereby increasing the odds that a bigger new branch could fall on the house in a good wind.
After hearing a few more estimates, we decided to go with Phillips Family. Brendon showed up on time and did an AMAZING job and also advised my friend on some tools she could use to do some future work herself and save herself some money.
He was also very personable and professional.

So after Brendon and his crew were done with our yard everything looked good but a week later after there was a downpour we noticed that some areas of the yard were higher and lower than others. We wanted the yard more level than what it looked like.
I decided to call Brendon back and he had no problem coming out and assessing the backyard for us. Once he saw how it looked he came back out and leveled the problem areas out with topsoil. He even was kind enough to leave an extra 4 bags of topsoil just in case. Now that’s what I call service.
