Stonebridge School

Not sure that any review that I write for this school would give it proper justice. After removing my kids from another Suffolk private school, we looked around the area for another place to go. City of Suffolk public schools in our area don’t have a great reputation and years ago most of them failed accreditation. Pile on top of that the news stories about kids bringing knives to school, bullying, and molestation that was happening. Our options were a little limited by travel distance also.
During this time we met a girl in our neighborhood who was a senior at SBS. I couldnt believe this girl and I didnt think she was real. Polite, manners, smart, well-​spoken. Definitely a throw back to an era where children had these skills and respected adults. I then discovered that she attended SBS which made my wife and I check out the school.
SBS teaches a classical biblical education which is close to a Christian school but it is based on biblical teachings and values. Bottom line is that my wife and I believe that it has been the single-​most best thing we have done for our children. The children at this school will all do great things in this world. For those parents that are worried about the religious part, I would recommend that you get a tour of the school and maybe get the Nation Changer tour. It will give you a great idea of how this school will teach your children. I am certain that you will be impressed.
