Kevin Salva’s home inspection for my most recent home purchase was excellent. He was thorough with his findings and spent about 30 minutes explaining everything to me when he was done. He found a lot of things that needed minor work and as a result, I was able to get some $ 5k worth of repairs done on the seller.
I’m sure this happens all the time but Kevin left me with a printed report outlining all the repairs suggested.
After all the repairs were done Kevin came back out and did a re-​inspection to ensure that all items on his original list were completed to satisfaction. Solid work.

My inspector missed that my water heater was incorrectly installed on single instead of a double circuit breaker, resulting in my losing hot water for two weeks, having to miss work for repairs and pay for them out-​of-​pocket. When I went to U.S. Inspect to seek reimbursement, since the problem stemmed from the inspector missing the incorrect installation, the company refused to reimburse me for even some of my expenses. Very, very frustrating.
