They have a HUGE selection of games, all reasonably priced. It’s worth going in and looking around! I went in with my old sapphire and ruby which have dead batteries. I was looking to get an emerald version, and showed off my little collection to find out that they offer a battery replacement service!!! I was so shocked! She did it for me in 5 minutes, and to get a new emerald and repair of my two games ended up costing 29.00! Definitely going to come back!

This is an amazing little gaming store hidden in a shopping center in Greenbrier across from the hospital. They have the games for and nearly any system you could imagine. A couple of Christmases ago I told my husband I wanted the old Atari 2600 system like I had when I was a kid. This is where he found it. My kids and I stop in here nearly every week to check out their games. Both of my kids now own Game Boy Colors purchased here and several old Pokemon games. They also have games for current consoles and controllers for everything. Their prices are great and the employees are friendly. They talk to my 10 year old son like he’s an adult and he loves that. They will make suggestions on games based on what you tell them you own and like playing. They will also check other stores if you’re looking for something specific that they don’t have. Whatever level of gamer you are, this is the place to go.

Anyone born before 1992 grew up in a very special time period. It was a time when Nintendo, Sega, Sony etc all were being born and hitting puberty. Classic games like Pokemon, Harvest Moon 64, Metal Gear Solid, Sonic the Hedgehog all remind people of easier times. Now being an adult wanting to kill some time its these older games that do it. Simple, fun, addicitng gameplay. Unfortunately, Gamestop succumbed to profits and popularity rather than sticking to being a true gaming store. Giving you $ 5 for a game that just released and then selling it for $ 50. Luckily though, there is Video Game Heaven. A game store that stuck true to what gamers want and need. A place to go for new games, but they also carry the classics. I love this place and will definitely be returning for my future game purchases.

Best Kept Secret? Yeap… But not for long. Stopped in here on my lunch break Friday and let me tell ya they have some stuff that so old school I find myself wanting to break out the old Atari 2600 and giving it a whirl. My coworker who was out to lunch with me grabbed an N64 to replace one that had been stolen from him a couple of years ago and the whole setup came out to be around $ 50. The equipment was pristine. Game Cartridges, CD’s and DVD’s lined the walls around the room and there were plenty of retro systems to boot. These guys blow away Game Stop. If you’re looking for something old or want to make a trade I think you’ll want to take the drive and check this place out for yourself.

The best retro game shop I have been to. Prices are right and the people actually know about these games so you can ask someone a question with confidence. Employees are very receptive to feedback and are very humble. Haven’t seen this amount of hospitality in a long time. Thank you VGH!

Not bad, has lots of old school video games and has knowledgeable staff. Prices are a little high, but normal for retail. They could use an airing out too. It smells like my grandparents basement. Oh and I can’t really critique the looks of the employees, but other than the one kid who works there everyone I’ve dealt with has been kinda unkempt looking.
