Color me unimpressed. Showed up for a 1st time appointment only to find out that Chovitz double-booked me. I wouldn’t have been so bothered had I gotten a phone call at the beginning of the day explaining the error. 39 weeks pregnant and drove 40 minutes to get there, however, and he’s trying to resolve the double-booking in front of the other patient… needless to say, it wasn’t a great first impression. He asked if I could come back in an hour — no, I couldn’t. I told the other patient to keep the slot, since she’d already said she couldn’t come back in an hour either, nor could she come back the next day. I told her since she already had established visits not to worry about this(she kept apologizing even though it wasn’t her fault) and I’d leave. That would have been fine except then Chovitz said, very condescendingly, «I’m sorry to see that you’re angry.» Well, I wasn’t angry, just perturbed, but with that tone? No thanks, I’ll look for a counselor elsewhere… somewhere where they can read a calendar at the beginning of a day.
