Great for beer and barbecue! We’re regulars because this place is top notch. Sit at the bar and ask the bartenders to explain the eclectic and delicious beer menu. They’ll tell you everything you need to know about anything they pour. This place really knows their beer. All the barbecue dishes are superb and the portions are huge. The daily specials are always superb although they occasionally sell out early. Adam’s gets my vote for the best casual restaurant on Kent Island.

Yet another successful golf tournament hosted this past Monday, with 143 golfers. Wes and Happy did a fantastic job — but of course — I wouldn’t expect any less from this restaurant. This is the 4th year in a row they’ve catered for The Bernie Hughes Memorial Golf Tournament. I highly recommend them not only is the food fabulous — it is served with a friendly professional attitude. It says something when the golfers are still talking about how great the food was. Thanks Wes, looking forward to next year.

I had the NY Strip Steak. It was every bit of 14 oz, if not more, flavorful and tender. Cooked medium just as requested, served hot. We sat on the patio because our small dog was traveling with us. The staff saw that we were outside, came right out and were very responsive throughout dinner. The only«negative» was the iced tea being kind of weak, but when that’s my only complaint, I consider it a successful experience!

Our daughter had a meltdown in traffic so we stopped here hoping they would seat us outside since we had our dogs with us. They brought the dogs water and our daughter celery to munch on. The shrimp was good and the service was great. Thank you!

Adam’s is our consistent local spot for a quick, easygoing meal. The ribs and bbq chicken are as good as ever, as is the pulled pork – just like I remember from their first few locations when they were still Adam’s Ribs. The grilled wings are fantastic, and they’ve always got different flavors to try. More often than not, my wife and I sit at the bar, and the service is always on time and exactly what we need. Strong selection of craft brews, and some great small batch whiskey and wine options too.

Went for dinner with friends. One friend glass of wine was a very bad pour, Kim brought her a new glass on the house. Same friends steak was way over cooked and my burger was crunchy it was so over cooked, Kim was the best waitress, she brought a new steak for my friend and me a bowl of soup since I didn’t want another burger. And ahe took the meals off our bills without us asking. Kim is the best!!!

Had not been to an Adams in many many years. Went in with the same high expectations that I had from visiting their Prince Frederick location a long time ago. Well, I guess with the name change from Adams Ribs to Adams Taphouse other changes were in order too. Changes that I can’t say we’re for the better. While waiting for a table I was bragging about how tasty the fried onion loaf was. Little did I know they are only available at certain, not all, locations. And not available at the Kent Island restaurant. I ordered a Kona coffee cured steak and it wasn’t all that special considering the price. The ribs were OK. Again nothing special or out of the ordinary. Staff gets two stars as well. Had to wait a seriously long time for waitress to make rounds again and request straws for our drinks that were delivered earlier. Nothing worse than weighing the risk of lipping the glass, over how long a wait it might be for a straw.

Seriously disappointed! We have stopped here numerous times when traveling & this was worst experience! Food not as ordered due to waitress being clueless. She ended the nite by bringing our bill before I was halfway finished my meal. Love the Salisbury location but we will stop in Annapolis or Kent Island next trip!

I like this place. Prompt service and reasonable prices. I recommend the steak salad. My steak was cooked perfectly medium.

Always a fan of the Adam’s Rib restaurants. It’s a must you get the wings. Great hot sauce on them and good quality wings(big). We enjoyed the crab dip here and they give you two nice loafs of bread to enjoy it. Ask for additional Old Bay to add a kick. Was disappointed with their On Tap selection this time around but they have a nice sampler option. One negative was the tap water smelled and tasted like sulphur. Nice wait staff and clean and modern restaurant.

Ask for the bar menu — there are some items on this menu that some may find more appealing if you don’t care for ribs/chicken/BBQ. I enjoy the freshness of their veggies and their balsamic dressing is delicious. Their service and food seems to be consistent as I visit often and enjoy all types of entrees. Don’t forget to get the cinnamon butter with your sweet potato and warm rolls.

So Adam’s has re-branded themselves from Adam’s Ribs to Adam’s Taphouse Grille. In the process, they have taken the menu down a few notches in terms of variety of offerings and positioned themselves less as a unique specialty restaurant and more into the brass-and-fern type of restaurant. Outside of a downsizing in the menu, not much has really changed. I was never fond this particular outlet in Grasonville, the food simply wasn’t up to the same level as the Adam’s in Edgewater. I can’t say that I honestly do not understand their changes in the re-branding effort — they have moved more in line to be like every other restaurant in terms of menu offierings and the food isn’t good. It’s not that it’s bad — it just isn’t good. The BBQ is spotty — sometimes it’s ok, sometimes its just awful. The wings are your run of the mill chicken wings with no real distinguishing characeristics. The chips and dip — which used to come covered in black salt are now just your average service grade chips. Again, it’s not bad — the food has just been dumbed down to the absolute lowest common denominator. Adam’s is largely forgettable — there is nothing about the food or the dining experience that stands out. if you want BBQ, then It’s the Pits in Chester does it better. I have a feeling that the next name change is going to be «Out of Business» — there is just nothing unique or compelling to justify a trip here.

Ribs were very tender, falling right off the bone. Service was quick and server was pleasant. Will definitely go back.

The word«Ribs» is in their name, so ribs should be the star. It wasn’t. It obviously was not the BBQ feast I envisioned, slow cooked and a low temperature over wood. Nope, it was boiled. Huh? What? Yup, I said it. It was boiled then slathered with an inadequate flavored BBQ sauce. Disappointing. The only reason they didn’t get a lower rating is because their sandwiches are good, but not great. Should be renamed, the Place for Sandwiches.

Ribs seem average to me. Havnt figured out what makes them special yet. And the rest of the menu isn’t exciting either.

Awesome place to grab a bite. Extremely cozy and local. I will definitely return. Try their crab dip, it comes with a generous portion of toasted bread and their steak salad is great. I wish I lived closer to this place but this will be my spot after a long day of shopping at the Queenstown outlets.
