Truly authentic in every way, Owner Marco and his team are warm and welcoming hosts. Never had a dinner less than 5 stars here. We love the food and atmosphere and will drive 25 minutes to enjoy a truly special night out with Marco. His hospitality and good cheer remind me of The Cadillac Bar in Nuevo Laredo in the good old days! Enjoy!

Everything there is homemade and fresh. I love their little taco platter(I forget what it’s called). I could eat their corn chips and mild salsa all day. While the portions seem small, they definitely fill you up. The employees are very kind and regularly check if we need refills. The overall atmosphere and décor is very pleasing as well.

I’ve dined in at fresco Mexican several times and had a pleasant dining experience. However, my take out experience today was sub bar. The quesadilla was not only extremely soggy but it came with no side condiments(sour cream, salsa) which I was really surprised about. The burrito was fine, but the lettuce and tomato they sprinkled on the side was a joke. Why even add the three tomato pieces and tiny amount of shredded lettuce? The two dishes were $ 24.50 but the quality felt like I had paid $ 10 for it.

Friendly, attentive service and authentic Mexican food! The specials are always reliably good. and imaginative. Set in an old house on Main Street, Fresca is worth a visit and we’ll keep coming back!

Fresco catered a great birthday party I attended the other night. The chef gets 150 points. Everything from the appetizers(guacamole) the best to the presentation of the cheese platter. The wait staff was superb. The pork was mouth watering I would recommend them to cater any party not to mention the restaurant is excellent also.

My son loved the kids quesadilla. I really enjoyed the camarones al diablo. My only suggestion would be to offer the kids crayons and something to color. Everything else was awesome. Oh Margaritas would be nice too!

I had the Tortilla Soup and Suer Stuffed Burrito and they were delicious! The chips and salsas that are gratis were fresh and either smokey or hot! Can’t wait to come back and try their dinner menu! They had Italian music playing which was interesting!

Unfortunately, my first visit will be my last. It somewhat pains me to write this review, my intention was to return to Fresco and explain to them what happened so that they can hopefully figure out how this happened and make sure it never happens again. I ordered takeout, a ground beef stuffed burrito. While I was consuming it at my kitchen table, I felt something funny in my mouth. I pulled it out and it was a piece of plastic. The plastic was thick and twisted up. I will try to post a picture of it as well. Finding plastic in my mouth from the burrito was extremely unsettling to me. I hope that this has not and will not happen to anyone else.

When I first came here, the waitress said everything on the menu was good. I was highly dubious, but she was mostly right. A lot of items on the menu are homemade, starting with the complimentary chips. Don’t fill up on those though, because the portion size of the entrees are pretty generous. Other reviewers complain that the salsa is spicy, but it’s good. I highly recommend the stuffed pepper as an appetizer followed by the chicken quesadilla.

Great Mexican food in the middle of a white neighborhood. The salsa is delicious, though the spicy is a bit too spicy. Nachos are tasty, and in fact, addictive. Pico de gallo is also hard to stop eating. They are friendly and conveniently located. I always get the Tacos al Pastor, and my daughter Tamales. The beans don’t feel heavy like other places. I’ve also noticed that it’s getting more crowded than it used to. Go in smaller groups. It is also nice to eat outside.

I came here with a group of 12 after picking apples down the street a little bit. I have driven past this place countless times and I always say to myself, I should really stop in here to try their food. Well I did and here is what I thought The staff was very nice, I think we kind of surprised them with our group size but they quickly pulled some table out of the back to accommodate us, our wait was very short. The waitress was very nice and helpful, and lets just say tolerant. Some of my friends are a pain in the ass, they aren’t malicious just what I would call needy, she handled them like a pro. As for the food the chips they gave out that were complimentary were great, luckily everyone was eating their hot sauce with them which left their delicious pico all for me. Their hot sauce is legit hot. I eat hot food, mostly because I enjoy it, partially because I enjoy pain everyone once and a while. Generally hot sauce is never hot to me, this stuff was a 3 alarm fire. For my meal I got some tacos and a side a guacamole, pro-tip if you and your buddy are sitting next to each other and are both going to get it, just order a full order, The half orders are convent when just one person is getting it but cost wise you would save a few bucks getting a full order, I also love guacamole and totally think you get enough for three people in a full order. A for personal preference I had both the pork and chorizo tacos, trades one for one with a buddy. I like both ordered pork, will get choizo from now on, imo the superior taco here.

As the name suggests, the food tastes fresh and authentic. Sit outside if you can! The inside is small and more energy is put into providing excellent food and service rather than ambiance. This is not a reason to skip the restaurant – it is so worth it for a relaxed, delicious, BYOB meal.

Outstanding food! Excellent atmosphere! We love this restaurant and we love the outdoor dining. It’s a BYOB, but the staff opens your bottle and provides lovely glasses. Don’t miss this Mexican restaurant. Really excellent.

A cute little Mexican spot with fresh tortillas and it shows. Excellent spot to fuel up before spending a day in Chester. Prices are very reasonable. Food was fast and filling. Several groups came and there was no issue accommodating them.

I was not a fan. Went inside to dine as it was 90 degrees outside and they had NO air conditioner. It was running but not cold air the had the front door open. The food was rather bland for a Mexican restaurant. The service was great but there was only one other couple at a table. Overall it was just average and I won’t be coming back.

I crave the Chimi Changas! There was a fabulous Mexican restaurant in NYC years ago and I have finally found its equivalent… right here in Chester NJ. The Guacamole is chunky, fresh and refreshing. the sauces are all fresh and a great variety of flavors. The main dishes have all been amazing. Flavorful and not too much or not too little food. The FLAN, oh my, the FLAN! Definitely have the flan, solid — type not the watery kind… REAL old fashioned deliciousness! I have yet to be disappointed by anything I have ordered and the same goes for every person with which I have dined.

Came to Chester for the day of fun at Stony Hill Farm up the road. The restaurant is conveniently located at the beginning of Main Street. There is outdoor and indoor seating available — nice perk especially when it’s nice out. The menu is pretty basic but they have pictures and explain the ingredients in each dish both in English and Spanish. The service was pretty average, however, I was a little pissed that I asked for napkins from who appeared to be the owner and quite a few minutes later — half way through my meal — my waiter came out with some. Food: Pricey but considering the area it wasn’t bad for the portions. Tried the Sopas which were interesting, not much flavor but tasty. I ordered the cajun chicken quesadilla for lunch. It was okay but the flour tortila was charred and greasy, difficult to eat with my hands which is the whole point of Mexican food(at least part of the charm). Beans and rice that came with was eh, and not even room temperature. The only thing that was worth bragging about was their Fall Burrito my friend had, made with fresh produce and dunked in this rich red salsa. Smelled good too. Overall I would say I’d suggest this place to anyone who came into town. But I wouldn’t go out of my way.
