Their slogan is still «even better than you imagined» and it is definite still true. Again, not a place for the faint of heart or someone looking for a bargain. Everything is ungodly expensive but engineered to be the absolute best it can be.
I have been using the «old» Nagler eyepieces on my scope with the 82 degree field. They were and still are incredible. I decided to try one of the new Ethos 100 degree eyepieces. So I call the help number and immediately got a «live» person that patiently explained everything I wanted to know.
The customer service of Tele Vue is superb. No waiting for hours trying to get someone to talk to. Damn, I wish state and federal agencies had service like this. I ended up buying a Ethos eyepiece and the views were ethereal. The 100 degree field doesn’t seem real, it’s like being at an IMAX theater. Shockingly and painfully expensive as hell but you definitely get your money’s worth.
Tele Vue is as good as it gets in amateur astronomy. Innovative, visionary and on the absolutely edge. Engineering at it’s finest.
