The flowers at the venue were great and looked fabulous. My bouquet was gorgeous. I just don’t like the service. Karen, the owner, was always hard to reach… especially on my wedding day when the ribbon on the bridesmaid bouquets were white instead of the blue I requested. Then I found out my mother and mother-in-law never received their corsage. I’m still waiting for a call regarding both. My flower request was small, I guess not large enough to warrant more attention.

loved! loved! loved working with the Guilded Ivy for my wedding. I know nothing about flowers and walked in with just an idea and walked out with an entire game plan. Karen was so patient and made wonderful suggestions while still keeping in my wedding budget. She was so creative. It was fantastic. We had rain on my wedding day so a lot of things had to be readjusted for an indoor ceremony, but she was able to bring the«outside in» with carefully placed arrangments and splashes of color. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

The Gilded Ivy is at the Cider Mill back near Hacklebarney Park off old Rte 24. Karen is the owner, and she did a fantastic job with my wedding flowers. Firstly, if you have a wedding during the growing season, she’ll actually use some of the flowers in her garden for your arrangements and bouquets. Talk about fresh peonies! She also has a great eye for color combinations. If you’re trying to keep costs down, let her know and she’ll definitely help you get the look you want with flowers that are in season regionally. I definitely recommend using her if you want personalized attention. She only does flowers for weddings and large events, so you won’t have prom or valentine’s day to contend with.
