Gave 4 instead of 5 because it took a while for them to get us the new grass once they killed the old stuff

I came home from a nice day off to find Curtis Sod basically sitting in my driveway unloading sod for someone in the neighborhood. So I asked the driver if he could be careful because of the sprinkler head, he kind of waived me off and continue going back in forth in our driveway very close to the heads. So I called Curtis Sod and a woman who claimed to be the manager told me to calm down, that they had ‘sprinkler head replacements on the truck’ and I told them that I didn’t want a replacement head but the heads I paid for (3 weeks ago) at that point she hung up on me for the first time. I called back and she said ‘sorry, see I have a sense of humor’ Seriously — I don’t think she could have been any more rude and asked her to please have the guy move (I think this must have been the third time I asked) She said she already called him and told me she didn’t want any of my future business and hung up on me AGAIN. REALLY??? and why would I hire them after this horrid experience. SO GLAD we went with Westlake! Argh!!!

We had Curtis sod do our whole yard last year. After pricing a couple landscape companies, I figured I would get just one more to see if they were any different. I was so glad I did. They came in quite a bit lower which raised a lot of questions about quality. I talked to The girl in the office (can’t remember her name) who answered all my questions. She put me at ease with them doing the job. Well the arrived on time, worked fast, regraded my entire yard, the builder did a poor job, and had the whole yard done in less than 3 hours. I thought it would have taken all day. It looked great!
A year later, I have them doing my fertilizing, water it based on their recommendation, and it still looks amazing. They were way less expensive, got the job done faster than the other bids quoted, and the fertilizing is cheaper than other places too. If I ever had another need for sod I won’t even have to check other places, I would just use Curtis sod. I did recommend them to my neighbor who said he went with them too.
