Great coffee shop! The espresso is always a great way to start the morning, and they serve it with chocolate covered espresso beans and sparkling water. The indoor fireplace, couches, and booths make it a good spot to hang out for the afternoon.

If Kaldi’s is going to make breakfast sandwiches on everything bagels without telling their customers, then they better plan on lots more bad reviews! Thanks for ruining my meal — it’s going straight to the trash. You need to either describe your menu items properly, or better yet, let your customers pick the bagel flavor they want!!! WTH!!!
PS — hubby order an XL coffee yet was given a L. Huge fail, not planning on being back. #GoToStarbucksInstead

Stopped in to Kaldis yesterday morning for a latte and a breakfast snack. Left with a beautifully poured soy latte and a slice of zucchini bread. Both were delicious! The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed, I wish I had time to stay. I will definitely return for the zucchini bread although they did have several other great healthy choices on their menu.

I have been coming here for over 10 years and with today’s experience, I will not return. Not one friendly hello, the level of food quality has drastically declined and any feeling of ‘local coffee shop’ has disappeared. How sad!!!

I love this place so much! I love this location because it’s right by Spirt of St. Louis airport!
On a nice day you can sit outside and watch the planes fly above you! I fell in love with this place because of the location and then the coffee and their other beverages are amazing too!
I do not understand why some of these reviews are so hasty!
Love it so much I drive 45 minutes to get there!

What a great find.
Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. Coffee was amazing! The store was a little hard to find off of the main road. Had to check my phone a few times to make sure I was going the right way.
I plan on going back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

This was a really great coffeehouse in St Louis. We just randomly found it driving by. Unassuming on the outside as it was just on the corner of a retail strip mall.
Great ambience on the inside. Lots of activity. We ordered coffee drinks and food. The cappuccino had some great latte art. I had a breakfast burrito which was very good and served nice and hot. Very Busy as nearly every table was full.

I can’t even begin to describe the wonderful and enchanting feeling I get when I walk into Kaldis Chesterfield. The staff, food, and coffee are so incredible I have made this a part of my daily routine for years now.
I have spent a good amount of money at this place, and I regret nothing. The warm coffee and smiles I receive everytime I walk in, is nothing short of amazing.
Jillian, Phill, and the whole crew, make me feel like a member of the family. I can not recommend this place enough.

I come to Kaldis at least three times a week. I could speak volumes about the tight ship Jillian runs and quality of customer service! Notably, the baristas are always quick to welcome you, make your favorite beverage to order, and jump start your day on the right note!
The coffee is good and the food selections voluminous. Personally, I keep going for the welcoming atmosphere and the courteous, hard-​working staff! I always feel welcome.

Amazing atmosphere. Great coffee. Love the highlander grogg. Nice to have a place to have breakfast lunch or dinner or just to work for a bit. The employees really set this business apart from the other locations.

OMG, saw this in my Bookmarks and couldn’t believe I neglected to complete this review months ago! I could kick my own ass right now!
Let me preface this review by saying, I love Kaldi’s/Kayaks Coffehouse.
I hate this location! The customer service sucks tremendously.
Therefore no matter how much I desire Kaldi’s/Kayaks, regardless how close it is to my house… I take a 30 min drive to Skinker & Forest Park for the sole purpose of avoiding this location at all cost.
The employees are flat-​out rude, playful and totally lacking hospitality.
I’d die of starvation or coffee dehydration before I step foot into this location.

I purchased 2 of what I thought were the yummy mango chicken salad sandwiches for my sister and I. Wow extremely disappointing not the same as I remember. This was the only reason I would pop by here for a bite to eat. I’ll definitely not be back. Tasteless/​bland and recipe no longer is top notch as it once was for me. I didn’t taste any mango; full of celery which I hate and apples, dried cranberries & taste completely missing all together. That’s too bad.
At least the cinnamon scone was decent.

The food here is good, and I come here several times a year, but I’m pretty annoyed that sides aren’t included with the sandwiches anymore (at least, I think they’re not?) This kind of bums me out because I normally enjoy eating here and thought of it as one of the «better» cafes around town. Plus, the prices are already kind of high, so not sure why they did away with the sides? Maybe it was just this location, because I ate at the Kirkwood one back in May, and the sides were included.

I love this place. Best coffee in the area along with amazing food. The service is fantastic and give great recommendations.
No drive through, but they move people through there fast and I have never had any issues with getting in and out fast.
They don’t have enough power plugs around if you plan on posting up on a laptop for a while, but there is a power strip for the lamp in between the fireplace and windows. The ambiance is great.

Stopped by Kaldis on a Saturday afternoon looking to buy some beans. Both of the staff there were helpful in answering questions and providing their own recommendations (without being pushy).
They went above and beyond by pulling shots for us to try of two of the different coffees and letting us take our time.
This location is out of the way for my normal routine but I was so impressed with the service I’d definitely return when in the area. The coffee was great too.

They re formatted their menu. Chicken mango salad used to be real chicken chunks, now blenderized bland meat, no side dishes with it now. The chipbata bun was just white bread. Smaller portion, etc.
It struck me as selling out, once you get so big you then change sources to cheaper blander generic stuff.
Sad, it has been outstanding food, now more Bread co ish. Too bad.

One of the better places to get your coffee. My go-​to drink here is the iced mocha. It is rich and bold. The coffee beans they use here are of high quality. You can taste it through the many coffees that they offer.
I also had their Salami-​Lettuce-​Tomato sandwich. You might as well call a BLT sandwich because the salami was toasted to a crisp. Tasted just like bacon but worse. I have had much better sandwiches elsewhere.
So why 3 stars? With so many coffee places nowadays, I see myself hard pressed to give it anything more than that. Was it mind-​blowing good? Not really. Was it out of the ordinary? Not really. Just another coffeehouse.

This was my first trip to this place for food and not just coffee. Met someone there who had recommended it.
The place was clean and inviting and somewhat busy for a slightly late lunch. I ordered the Turkey Spinach sandwich and iced tea. We sat down with out order number and waited for our food. It was not long in arriving.
The presentation was good. Both my sandwich and my friends soup/​sandwich combo looked good. My sandwich was also good. Nice flavors, Nothing too over powering EXCEPT the bread. Why do places have great tasting ingredients and then give you a think sandwich bread to mask it? Something thinner would have made me give a slightly better review.
I tried all the different flavors of Iced Tea and ended up drinking just water. Maybe it is me but I am not a fan of over powering flavors in Tea. It needs to be subtle.
My friend enjoyed his soup/​sandwich combo. Whereas I was still slightly hungry after eating my sandwich he ended taking ½ of his home.
