How can you only have 2 registers open on a busy saturday? The woman who seemed to be running the front didn’t seem like she wanted to be bothered to do any work herself. The woman running register 7 didn’t seem to know how to operate it. I left my cart and hundreds of dollars of items in the store because of the wait. Check your cameras for 3pm saturday the 29th. What a complete train wreck of an operation.

I only go to Lowe’s in the rare event the Home Depot about 300 yards away does not have what I need. I’ve lived here for about 2.5 years and that’s happened exactly twice. One time, HD was sold out of something I needed immediately to finish a plumbing project. The other time, I needed a knob that HD didn’t sell. Sadly, Lowe’s didn’t sell the right one either but that didn’t stop a guy from selling me the wrong one.
I used to shop at Lowe’s all the time because I liked them better than Menard’s for everything but building materials. We didn’t have HD in the town where we lived so it was the next best thing. Guess what? We have Home Depot here so I have little to no use for Lowe’s.

Nice large store with ample parking. Well marked isles with well stocked shelves. Employees always seem to be too busy to help customers in the store (always on the phone). I actually left this location and placed a special order with another Lowe’s store. This location lost a pricey order from me. Never anyone to help load in the garden department either. They need to put a focus on approaching and greeting every customer, everyday.

Oopsie-​Doopsie!
Had to return the drill that I bought to file the dogs’ nails. I tried an emory board — like a plain old emory board — on all three dogs, and the 9-​pounder (Thomas Raymond) squealed like a stuck pig. It was clear this drill thing wasn’t going to work.
Upon arrival at Lowe’s, there’s clear signage for customer service. I went directly there and was readily assisted by two lovely clerks. I told them of the dilemma, and they both laughed. Instant refund on the credit card.
So easy!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I really don’t like big box lumber. Their wood is usually warped, and sometimes it’s not dried well, leading to expansion and contraction once you bring it home. That being said, Lowe’s is close and convenient. And when you run out of cup hooks in the middle of a project, it’s easy to run out and pick up a new box of them.
