Good variety. My kids and I can find something we love. Go at a busier time so the food is hot. We always tend to go at a slower time which is nice because we are a family of 7, but then many of the items we want are cold and not fresh. So we ask and they do bring out more. I love their salt and pepper fish. You can find just about anything you’d like here. They always seem to be cutting string beans when I’m there. It’s weird to me that they sit in a booth and cut vegetables.

Came here for dinner on Friday night. The sushi tasted fresh. The crab legs were pretty good, not too salty. Food overall was ok, but don’t expert much on desserts. We didn’t have the change to try the Mongolian BBQ because we had too much to eat. Will have to try it next time. Go to Groupon, you can buy $ 20 worth of meal for $ 12.

I grew up around chesterfield and I ate here often growing up. I came back to visit family and decided to come here for lunch. The only thing that has changed is the quality. This place has food that has been left out for ages, never gets replaced, and I had to wait like 20 minutes before they started grilling my food. Seriously? Very unfortunate since I grew up with this place. I can’t recommend this place to anyone anymore. If you want a good grill, just go to huhot Mongolian grill

Not worth getting off the highway for. Had a craving and used Unilocal to find this place. Nothing was fresh and had to ask 3 times to have my Mongolian bbq cooked. I did go at an off time, but that shouldn’t be much of an excuse.

Solid A-OK Go for –create your own Mongolian BBQ –being able to put wasabi on wontons & other cross cultural experiences Try(hit/miss) –Chinese food(some fresh & some not) –seafood (nice sized muscles) (Self-centered single grab ALL crab legs when they come out & then eat only easy meat) (Not deveined or shelled shrimp) –sushi –american dishes –desserts Yeah… I would be happier with a drop of the price & stop carrying crab legs. Then, if they could concentrate on keeping the rest fresh. It is what it is.

The food was good. I think the best part about this restaurant is that you can select your own stir fry and have it prepared in front of you. They give you a variety of items to choose from including fish and shrimp. The Chinese buffet is also quiet good. I would return. BTW they offer coupons on groupon.

Wow! Poor Quality Food, several items COOKED to death and inedible! We focused on the green beans and mushrooms. Several items not replaced during our luncheon. Sushi was a poor quality. Carpet is unraveling and we saw several customers tangle in it! The best thing about our visit was the friendliness of the waitress, and the ice cream bars for dessert! Sorry folks you have a long way to go to achieve any type of return visit!

Fine for what it is 2 ½ stars. Lots of food for an ok price. It is $ 8.00 for lunch and the quality is ok, nothing scary. I’d say check out the Mongolian BBQ. Salt and Pepper shakers were sticky and probably not washed in months. Same with other things on the table. Fine for a buffet but it is not as good as some of the others around town. Decent to good.

First time eaters at this Asian fare buffet. The Chinese food was excellent. The sushi was great although I would have liked to have seen more of it. I didn’t try the mongolian bar-b-que because it didn’t appease me much. Bought on groupon and will definitely go back again.

Good selection of sushi and Chinese. Plus the stir fry is always good. Place needs an update and new carpet. As a Buffett it’s what can be expected. Nice people.

The caption when you select two stars for a place says, «Meh, I’ve experienced better.» The truth is, I’ve experience better at Mongolian BBQ. We’ve been going there for years, moved to Florida for a few years, then returned to St. Louis 2 years ago. We’ve been back to Mongolian BBQ twice before since our return. Tonight, was the first time I was truly disappointed. First, we were seated in a booth that had a ripped seat. That really sends the wrong message about a restaurant that is charging over $ 14 per person for dinner. What it says is, «We’re too cheap to fix the seat so just sit on the rip.» I always look forward to the fresh vegetables, meats, seafood, and fruit that you can select to give to the chefs who grill them while you wait. I noticed something different tonight. They used to use a yellow oil, and tonight the liquid was clear — I don’t know if it was a different kind of oil or just plain water, but the bowl of assorted goodies I selected did not taste as flavorful as I remember them, even with the sauces I poured on them prior to grilling. The food at the buffet was disappointing as well. Everything without exception was over cooked to the point of having the consistency of beef jerky, especially the teriyaki chicken on a stick. The mussel I tried was like a tasteless piece of rubber band. My wife tried the crab legs and stopped eating them after one bite. She said they flavor had been cooked out of them and the meat was dry as well. The fried fish suffered the same fate — over cooked and dry. We got there a little after 5:00PM, on a Saturday night, You would think everything would be fresh, moist, and flavorful, since we were early for dinner, but it wasn’t. My wife thought maybe the food had been sitting for hours. I see they now have extended hours. They used to not open until 5:00PM for dinner, but their posted hours are from 11:00AM to 10PM, so maybe my wife is right about the food sitting. The servers were fine. We were seated promptly and our drink order taken quickly. I was just so disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Tonight thank goodness we saved $ 11 off the $ 34.95 bill using a Groupon, but honestly, given the quality of the food, I wouldn’t have wanted to pay more that $ 10 a piece for what we ate, and even that would be generous. I hope the management takes note of these observations and tweaks their food preparation. I have one more Groupon and we’ve decided to reduce the hit on our wallets we’ll go for lunch next time instead of dinner. They have one more chance with us, otherwise, I don’t think we’ll be back after that.

Stopped to eat after meeting someone in Chesterfield. We were immediately greeted and seated by a very friendly woman. The buffet had the standard Chinese buffet food. Nothing too special. The sushi was good. I tried the Mongolian BBQ and it was decent, especially for a Chinese buffet. Not near as good as Hu Hot down the street, but it was tasty. The staff was very quick to take our empty plates and refill drinks. A major issue I had with this place is the tile floors by the food bar was very sticky. Gross sticky. But other than that this place was good.

Good food for the money. They have excellent sea food items in their buffet and the Mongolian barbecue is very good. I have been going there for years and would continue to come back.

This place is just meh. Nothing exciting to say about it– and I really hate ripped vinyl seats. Kinda gross.

Came for lunch. Just for those who are not sure… it’s called Mongolian BBQ… look it up, it’s not the BBQ you think. I was surprised that it was cheap($ 8). First, it’s a pretty big restaurant and clean. The staff were consistently cleaning(sweeping and cleaning tables). The quality of the food was pretty good. Everything was warm and fresh(veggies and meats). There were a few things that were not great tasting but it was a handful. The Mongolian BBQ part of the buffet is the veggies against the wall and the meats and sauces on the BBQ counter area. It is kind of difficult to navigate because there are no signs to let you know what you looking at initially when you see the veggies. There is a small sign at the sauce counter letting you know how to mix the sauces… nice guide to have. There is a tip jar on the counter for the chef… so come prepared. I liked the noodles.yummy. There is sushi as well. I did not have a chance to taste it but it was very limited in variety. The oysters were good. I will say the best part of the buffet was the Mongolian BBQ because you put what you want it. If you go to any buffet and have their desserts they are questionable to decent.

It’s a buffet. but there is no bbq. who knew? This place is cheap. $ 8 and there was SO much food. I tried a little bit of everything. Egg Drop soup wasn’t warm enough, peel and eat shrimp were a tad small, soft serve ice cream not very good. On the other side of the coin: some of the BEST crab rangoon I have ever had in my life. Chicken wings were very tasty as was the fried rice. The donuts. OMG. the donut was SO good. There were so many other things to try! Can’t wait to go back.

A-OK, average! Mongolian BBQ portion of this restaurant is pretty up there, with loads of variety of sauces, meats, seafood, veggies etc. I would definitely come here for that. The Chinese buffet portion of this place is quite meh, I think that the buffet portion could be much better. Pricing for dinner for what you get is a lil expensive, I think for lunch it is ok. There are better choices though in my honest opinion

Went here for lunch today. The things that stood out as good were the sesame balls and the Mongolian wok(I picked it out myself — what’s not to love about that?!) The sushi was really weird. Normally, I would look forward to something described as weird sushi, but in this case I found the combinations off-putting. Seaweed salad and that eggy tofu sheet thing in a maki… Overall, a solid choice that will remain in the lunch rotation.

Ms T and I used another coupon that we had been holding, this time for Mongolian Bar-B-Que. We seem to recall being there a long time ago and for some reason we did not avail ourselves of the Mongolian Grill itself, just eating from the buffet. This time we learned the routine and loaded our bowls with meat and vegetables along with sauces and spices and had the guy with the two long sticks cook it for us. They offer sliced pork, chicken, beef, squid, shrimp and maybe some other things along with a large variety of vegetable. I really liked my concoction of pork, cabbage, fresh chiles, mushrooms and dry red chiles. I just needed some fermented black beans. Regardless, he did a nice job cooking it, not overdoing the vegetables. Ms T focused on seafood and also enjoyed her dish. We both included noodles with the meat and vegetables. The buffet is large and we both ate too much. We found that they manage the buffet well, at least on a Saturday evening. Items were not cooked in such large batches that they get stale. I was impressed with the flavor in the fried shrimp. Mongolian BBQ is not cheap food, but remember it is all-you-can-eat. The problem for us is that we can’t eat that much, never the less, as close as it is for us, I can see us back again at least for the assemble-your-own part of it. We just need to be hungry. It is not fantastic gourmet Chinese food, but it is a good way to get your fix and is certainly head and shoulders better than the ubiquitous cookie cutter strip mall places.
