Nail Designs

While visiting the area, I wanted to get my nails done before traveling home. I normally do my own gel polish but due to quick turn around travel I had limited time and thought I’d try and find a place in town. I saw the walk-​in sign and thought this should work out fine. The only gel brand that they carry is Shellac-​No Opi or Gelish. Are you kidding me? I wasn’t happy but I looked at the colors then I sat and waited. I was on my way to work so I was worried about being there waiting. There was one lady there waiting for her customer who had am appointment and she indicated the technician who would be taking care of me. I had on Gel polish which has to soak off or fool wrapped but no one started this process. After about 20minutes. I got up and left. So why one star? Because it’s the lowest choice available. I didn’t find anyone personable. I didn’t care to sit doing nothing. I didn’t want to get to work late. I got on my Unilocal app and found JNS Nails practically across the street and down one block. OMG what a difference. Great personalities and taken right away. Enjoyed my conversations with them. If I’m ever back in the area, I know where to go and will steer clear of this place.

Not a fancy salon, but they make you feel very welcome. I went for the first time yesterday. I called for a spur of the moment appointment at 6. Despite being busy (surprisingly busy for a Monday night, seemed to be regulars), they took me at 6:30 for a mani pedi and they close at 7! I had 2 people working on me, and I no problem having this a bit rushed, especially since I found out they closed at 7! They were great. Great hand and foot/​leg massage. They were efficient, funny, and a great group of ladies! Thanks Sam for taking me on short notice and providing great service. To the girl that have me the pedicure, (sorry, I didn’t catch your name) thank you as well. GREAT job on the toes! I will be back!

Nail Designs is one of the best nail salon I’ve been to. It might not have all the extra couches and sitting areas and what-​have-​you of other places, but the professional staff and prices can’t be beat. If an English speaking salon is important to you — this is a great place. They always have new products in, they take appointments and they have movies playing or music on their big screen if you’re not much of a talker. I’m very loyal to this salon now and ONLY bring my friends/​family here. Absolutely the best, no question!!!
