This place is a must stop every year for our family and it always gets better and better. The staff are some of the most friendly I’ve encountered. The activities for the little ones are ever-growing and include a lengthy train ride through the fields($ 4 and its not so much a train as a tractor pulling some converted 55gl drums into seats) and the kids love it. The site also has Hayrides, Pony Rides, Birthday Party areas, Bier Gardens for the adults and many other sights. The prices for the activities are well priced, but the prices for the actual pumpkins are very high compared to a local grocery store. A decent sized pumpkin will run you $ 9 — $ 14 and seems a bit to high. Visit for the experience.

This place is so awesome! The atmosphere and decorations are great. There is a large variety of pumpkins for whatever size you need. This pumpkin patch never disappoints.

We love this place. We look forward to this place opening for the season. It is a family friendly fall destination with kettle corn, good food, jams/jellies, crafts, pumpkins of all shapes and sizes to buy, a hay ride, haunted stable with cool scenes, etc. PLEASE Chesterfield, never let Rombach turn into a warehouse. With the encroaching businesses taking over farm land over there, Rombach farms offers character that is so lacking in a city like Chesterfield. Chesterfield needs more Rombachs. Rombach is the real deal. Very genuine and authentic experience.

Pretty good experience with my grand-daughters. Beautiful day, had a lot of fun. Pumpkins are pretty pricey, and I wish I had seen water given to the ponies when they were in the hot sun.

We had a birthday party for my son here last year. I know I’m late posting this but I just thought about them today. They were so helpful and nice. The lady that is in charge of the parties was so sweet and awesome the kids had a blast. There were so many things for the kids to do. They really enjoyed themselves and we will be back for sure!

I’ve been coming here since I was a wee little one. It is the most fun you can possibly have while picking pumpkins. There are lots of activities for children to play on. Keep in mind, accessibility is a bit of a problem on weekends, so you’ll have to wait in some pretty significant traffic problems. One time I drove by here(it’s on the way to my parents) there was a traffic jam from rombachs all the way to the intersection of wild horse creek and 109. Crazy! It is worth it though, just remember there are a few ways to get down to the bottoms. Also, they have a great produce stand in the summer, so don’t forget that!

First time here and overall a positive experience for me and my girls. Spent a bit more here than what I was planning to but there are a number of things for the kids to do and they all cost money. I didn’t realize there was a wristband option until I had already paid for a few of the activities. No big deal though… Positives were the option to pick your own pumpkin vs. select one from the rows of pre-picked, the variety of kid’s activities and a beer/wine garden for the adults. We will be back next year.

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins! Visited during a weekday and unfortunately most of the vending stands weren’t staffed. But found some choice pumpkins from a huge outdoor selection.

My parents first took me to Rombachs before I learned to walk. It was definitely THE pumpkin patch to bring your kids to in the 80’s and I have to say, it doesn’t seem like that has changed. What has changed is the size! I don’t know if they acquired more land over the years, or if they’re just using more of it, but there are a ton of activities for kids, as well as sections of pumpkins to choose from. I came twice this year with different nieces and nephews and everyone in the family had a fantastic time. It’s always a great location for photo ops, and if you’re looking for a fun, relatively cheap day with the family, I would recommend it. Make sure you bring plenty of cash because while it’s free to enter, all the rides, food, and activities will cost you!

Great atmosphere and a great place to make family traditions! My parents took me here my whole childhood and now I’m 20 and eagerly look forward to coming all year. I hope to take my own kids here one day! Great plave!

Great atmosphere. Great family experience that will easy become a tradition. You might pay a couple of bucks more for a pumpkin bit well worth it

Growing up in Lake Tahoe, meant no pumpkins for Halloween, and certainly no pumpkin patches. So when I was 19 and coming back from a camping trip with a friend’s family and I saw the mountains of pumpkins from the highway I screamed with the excitement of a 5 year old. They humored me and we spent an hour walking through the pumpkin patch trying to find the perfect pumpkin. Not a year has gone by since that I have not made the trip out to Rombach’s. And now that I have kids the trips out there are even better. There really is no better pumpkin patch in the St. Louis area.

I can get a much cheaper pumpkin at Walmart, but I go to Rombach’s. It’s the ambience and the family outing(especially if you have little ones). Basically, Rombach’s is the DEAL!

Why in the world did I drive an hour and a half away to some bumpkin small town to fine my perfect pumpkin last year, when Rombach Farms is like 15 minutes from my house??? Because I never heard of it. Best kept pumpkin patch secret! This place rocks it!!! Now that I found it I will never go anywhere else. As I was walking in last weekend, I overheard the Amish looking man next to me say: «I guess this will be the last year we go to Rombach’s…seems like eevvverrryyyooonnneee has heard about it now.» By «everyone» I assume he was talking about M.E. — the woman who was wearing cowboy boots and oversized sun glasses to the farm. Yes… I bring it. Even to the farm. Yeehaw! Little man got such a kick out of this place he has been talking about it ever since. We rode the ponies, got lost in a maze, went through a haunted house, drove a caterpillar kids ride, jumped on a bunch of bouncy things, ate barbeque, … and oh yes… and found some really great pumpkins!!! Even though Mr. Amish won’t…We will be back every year!

I can’t tell you how many field trips and childhood trips I took here. It’s just such a fun place to visit during fall, and the perfect place to pick out that Halloween pumpkin to carve. It really is a magical place to kids. There are tons of Halloween displays, «haunted» stuff, food, warm cider and hot chocolate. Hours can be spent here. And not only can you pick out your pumpkin here(they range from small to gigantic), you can pick up other fresh, seasonal vegetables. Not to mention the owners and staff are extremely professional and kind .This is a must-stop in late September and early October! It’s easily the best pumpkin patch in the St. Louis area.

Parking is free, the kids are happy, and so are you! What more could you ask for? This pumpkin patch and playground for kids features a striped landscape of of lumpy, bumpy, orange pumpkins. For Halloween hoopla, the best time to go are weekends early in October when it’s not too crowded yet and local favorites like burgers, brats, funnel cakes, hot cocoa, and apple cider are sold cheap. Kids are entertained all day with train rides, pony rides, face paintings, meandering through mazes, pumpkin carvings($ 8-$ 15), scrambling through a plethora of playgrounds, and petting the farm animals. Adults might prefer checking out the year-round fresh produce or the Halloween shop, which sells funky hats and wigs, yard displays, and other spooky products. Another attraction is the«hallway of horror,» which isn’t really scary but is charmingly kitschy(like most of their displays) and fun for all ages. Enjoy!
