It was gratifying when after six attempts to get an estimate to install a gas line to my kitchen, I happened upon R.P. Perkins Plumbing. Bob came when he said he would. He gave an estimate in a timely manner and he advised me on helpful preparation. He did the work when he said he would and advised me on the appropriate code requirements. I was very impressed with the service I received. I had a tub stop up at a property I own. I called late on a Sunday and had an actual person answer the phone. Bob said he would be there within the hour and not only was he there but had the problem resolved when I arrived. Considering it was on a Sunday and short notice I thought the cost of his services were more than reasonable. I have found my plumbing Service.

Make sure to get references for similar projects. This did not work out well.

I found Bob via the Rinnai website after having another company come out who I later discovered was not endorsed by Rinnai. Altogether I had four quotes and his was not only the best, but more importantly the one I felt most comfortable with.
He replaced an Electric water heater with a high efficiency natural gas tankless hot water heater. A lot of custom work to make it fit in the tight space. He also had to do a lot of educating of the local county inspectors on the way these are installed since their knowledge was limited. His price could not be touched. I was able to get a larger and more efficient unit for cheaper than the competitors were charging for a smaller and less efficient unit.
