Mary at the front desk was fabulous. Beds are comfy. It does the job. No major complaints nothing spectacular– it’s exactly what you expect from a Fairfield Inn.

This hotel is conveniently located off the highway(64). Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very cute with a separate living room w/sofa bed and TV and«bed room» with a separate TV. Kitchen area includes a sink, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Bathroom is composed of a separate sink area and toilet and shower in a closed-door room — a little boring — literally nothing on the walls… good enough size. Small pool and hot tub — they even have one of those chair lifts for someone who may have mobility problems. There is a small workout room with a few machines and they have a small«store» with snacks and other items that one may need. Breakfast area is pretty small and fills up fast on the weekends. One-way line makes it a little slow getting food. Good selection of food — fresh fruits, yogurt, oatmeal(cooked, not that instant stuff), several types of breads, juices, muffins, eggs and different meats on different days. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Ample parking. So, here are my gripes: Elevator: very slow, on the smaller side, and only 1 for the entire 3-floor hotel. We took the stairs most of the time. Hotel’s Washer/Dryers: Why is this a gripe? well, if you stay in any room in the middle of the hotel, if the washers and dryers are going, it will feel like there’s an earthquake going on. When I first felt it in the lobby, I literally got dizzy and just looked around thinking there was an earthquake… in the room, same thing. That’s it. While this is not the best hotel I’ve stayed in during my STL visits, it’s not the worse. I’d stay again.

My home away from home. I was here 3 weeks straight for work. This was a nice peaceful place to stay. I had problems with the deadbolt on the last week. It would get hung and you had to play with it. My other coworkers had the same issue with some if their rooms. The pool is tiny. Other than that, no complains. The area is safe. It’s right off the highway. There’s a little mall less than a mile away. Sleepy area though.

Very clean and a superb staff. They greet you every time you come in the door. They asked how we were doing with our hockey tournament and started breakfast early for us so we could eat before our game!

Nice quiet location with comfortable rooms and friendly people. Breakfast is better than most. Great pool with hot tub. Marriott Elite upgrade can get you an in-room Jacuzzi.

Good place to stay when visiting for an extended weekend. The hot breakfast has a nice-sized buffet that is suitable for all tastes. Some items change on the menu; like«make your own waffles» and«biscuits and gravy». Plenty of healthy food for breakfast, too. We booked the suite because we needed the extra space for our newborn. The room was a nice size for the three of us and was extremely clean. The shower/bathroom was separate from the vanity/sink; this is always nice, especially when you are waiting for someone to get out of the bathroom to get ready. Although we brought our own bassinet for the baby, the hotel does offer cribs on a first-come, first-serve basis. This was the first time for the baby to not sleep in his room; I was concerned if it would be too loud for him(because of a new environment, it’s the weekend and hallways always have a lot of traffic in hotels, etc.). There was no problem for him sleeping. The hallways were quiet and you couldn’t hear the people next to you, either. Great stay!

Good shower. Easy internet. Friendly staff… excellent in fact. That bumps it up to 4-stars. And comfy beds. Not as swanky as some newer Springhills, but a good location and basic amenities are there.

This is the second SpringHill Suites that I have tried out in the St. Louis area and it falls short of the one on Rider Trail in Earth City. This one looks like it was once a Courtyard or Fairfield and has been converted. I still like the fact that I have a couch, chair, lamps, desk, sink/fridge/microwave but it’s nowhere near as aesthetically pleasing as its brother to the north. I’ve posted pictures of both so feel free to check them out. I do like the location a bit better though. There are more restaurants close by as well as easy access to I-64. That’s definitely its redeeming quality.
