Great sales today. Found bunny ears for my great-niece and a cute Easter pail to fill with candy as a hostess gift for our Easter dinner host and hostess — ears and pail each $ 1 in the bins in front. Two-litre Pepsi products $ 1.25. Crazy pricing, when you consider a 20-ounce convenience bottle of soda is now $ 1.59. Target’s Market Pantry brand of powdered drink mixes(like Crystal Light) were $ 2.01 for a container of 6 pouches that in total make 12 quarts. Downey fabric softener 3.23 quarts(0.8 gallons) was $ 7.99($ 2 off) but if you bought two, you get a $ 5 gift card. OK. I bought two. Paid $ 16. Saved $ 4 on the price. Got a $ 5 gift card — $ 9 savings. Distilled water was $.89/gallon — cheaper than grocery stores and Wal-Mart. Overall, I saved 21%. Extra savings using my Red Card — a Target Visa. It is a regular Visa to be used anywhere Visa is accepted. When you use it at Target, you get an extra 5% off your purchase. And when you sign up for the card, you designate your local school of choice for a Target donation every time you use the card. I’ve been giving to my children’s grade school for years! I got two coupons for $ 1 off two Hershey Bliss chocolates(8 oz. or larger). Have to figure out what those are.
