This place is going downhill fast. Terrible service(poor server was on her 2nd day there, and the dining room manager was playing with the lighting rather than help this poor woman), inattentive host at the front(we sat there and waited while they seated everyone else and ‘forgot’ us). The mizithra cheese dish is amazing. Outside of that, the rest of the meal was sub-par. Caesar salad is not made with iceberg lettuce and cabbage. It’s made with romaine lettuce and doesn’t have a blob of dressing in the middle with three croutons. Horrible — horrible presentation, tasteless dressing, just terrible. We ordered an appetizer(gorgonzola dip) that was supposed to have some kind of «rustic toasted bread.» Yeah, that was just toast. Seriously, toast cut into strips. The Miz and Meat entrée was good. And that was all. More expensive than it warrants. Not a good value. I couldn’t be more disappointed and see no reason to return.

The absolute worst service I’ve ever had! My experience began with siting five minutes to be seated at a completely empty restaurant by a bitchy waitress who clearly didn’t want us there. It then took ten more minutes for the waitress to take our drinks and food order. Our appetizer came with the meal(which pissed me the off) and I found an actual hair in my toasted ravioli. Not to mention they gave me a giant bowl that was barely filled and the table next to us got bread right away and we never did. But the icing on the cake of my «lovely» experience was after my grandmother paid, the waitress said in a snarky voice«Thank you ladies.» And I’m a 13 year old boy! I’ve never been more pissed at a restaurant and I will definitely never go there again!

Visited his location last night for dinner. I was by myself. When I walked in I was greeted by the staff and manager and sat immediately. I had the managers favorite for my meal, which is basically your choice of any 2 sauces in your pasta. I got half meat sauce have cheese. The plate was great. Portion size could have been a little bigger for the $ 12 price tag, but it did fill me up. I just like to have leftovers. The salad, with the house dressing is always killer, and the bread was good too. I also had a Long Island iced tea pomegranate drink which was very tasty. It wasn’t as strong as you’d like a Long Island to be though. Service was quick and friendly. Would of given 5 stars if not for the weak drink and my half and half portion being more like a ¾ & ¼ plate.

Great atmosphere super reasonable prices. However if you are looking for average food you will be disappointed. We enjoyed the bread which was served hot. Our entrees were very below average. The spaghetti sauce wasn’t anything special. Of the four entrees only one was ok. Stick to the basic spaghetti and meatballs and you might be ok.

Classy furniture with artwork inside. Great food great service. Five star restaurant without the five star price!

Got some food to-go. wow. not cool. Not cool at all. My ravioli was under cooked and the Shrimp and artichoke dip was really bad. The garlic cheese bread was dripping with grease. Most of this meal got tossed.

Not impressed… at all. Everything was just mediocre… except the spinach/shrimp/artichoke dip, THAT was terrible! Should have sent it back but my husband will eat pretty much anything so I pawned it off on him. Won’t be returning.

Went here after my grandma’s funeral. The wait staff went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 30. There were appetizers waiting for us on the table when we arrived and drink orders were taken right away. The food was delicious– I would highly recommend the toasted ravioli and chicken Marsala.

Horrible service, 4 people in our party. Took 20 minutes to get an Italian Cream Soda which arrived after our salads, and only after asking the manager for it. The food was good but the poor service overshadowed that for me. What should have been a lovely holiday lunch with our Mothers was very frustrating. When my Mom asked for a to go box for half a sandwich and chips the server came back with a cup. At this point I couldn’t even look at him. Lee needs to seriously be trained or rethink his career choice. There was no sense of urgency and not enough apology for me. Servers like this are the reason I don’t like to try new places. This restaurant also lacks the charm of the Stl location. Too many other choices in Chesterfield to bother with this place.

If you are craving pasta, specifically spaghetti with a rich meat sauce, this is the place. It’s quick, good for kids, and tasty. It’s not going to be the greatest pasta you’ve had but you already know that.

Get the buttered noodles. It reminded me of what I ate when I was a kid and didn’t like red sauce. It was buttered spaghetti with Parmesan type cheese on top, pretty simple but amazing. Also you get soup or salad and bread with ice cream for dessert too!

The Chesterfield Old Spaghetti Factory doesn’t seem to have the same historical feel to the building but the service was excellent and the food was as well. There is a wide variety of children’s menu options and the adult choices won’t break the bank.

This is the worst place I have ever eaten, Unfortunately. I get dragged there when I have family in town and the service is always extremely poor, The only food I have found there that is worth eating is the cheese garlic bread, otherwise the food is terrible, if you are going to eat here make sure that you are ready to have a stomach ache for the rest of the day. I say skip this place and spend the money you’d spend Here on real Italian food like Maggianos.

I finally got to try the food here yesterday at lunch. The spaghetti with Sicilian meatballs were ok in taste. I love good pasta, but the pasta here was all right. The meatballs were very bland as well as the sauce. Two huge meatballs in a red sea of spaghetti looked okay in presentation. The service was great, but the food wasn’t. Not foodgasmic.

I was really amazed at the atmosphere of this place as I walked in. I was not expecting it to be so ‘nice’. It’s more than just spaghetti. There we so many good choices for dinner I finally had to settle on just one. I selected the baked chicken breast with spaghetti and mizithra cheese. It was really good. Their wine list was short but it had some very recognizable names. I had a Robert Mondavi Cab. Warm bread with butter was provided. Dinner came with a salad, then a small dish of ice cream for dessert. I think I will go back next time I’m in town. Only issue I had was the choice of tables. I sat in what looked like an old street car. Great location but the table was loose. Couldn’t keep my dinner in front of me.

Stopped in last night for a quick meal. Hadn’t been in years and that was the DT location. Nothing was very good. Salad was bland and boring, toasted ravioli was tasteless and chicken parm and the accompanying spaghetti and red sauce were mushy and acid y. The service was poor. When asked if an item was good we were told«I’m new and I don’t eat here» Keep moving this place is no better then the Olive Garden.

Great atmosphere. The minestrone soup was delicious but I was very disappointed in the chicken fettecine Alfredo. The broccoli had no taste the sauce was watered down. Had to put salt and pepper on it to semi have some flavor but it really didn’t help. It was nice that bread soup/salad and ice cream are included with the meal but didn’t care for the spumoni, just a personal taste thing. The ice cream was fine.

Just a good Italian restaurant. We went in on a Wednesday night around 5:30, and it was dead. The restaurant is quite large, and I have rarely been to a Spaghetti Factory that was not crowded. As such, we had excellent service. The food was expedient, and we always had full drinks. The cheese bread, salads, and ice cream were all good. Our table ordered chicken marsala, browned butter and myzithra, and crab ravioli. Each dish was great. I would be more than happy to eat this on a regular basis, and I would also be huge. The amount of food you get for the money is well worth it.

This was my first experience with The Old Spaghetti Factory, and as far as I am concerned, it might as well be the last. Years ago, when she lived in the area, my wife’s best friend loved the location down town, so when she returned home with her hubby, she suggested we go to the Chesterfield location for dinner. So we did. Starting with service, it could have been better. We had to ask twice for multiple things, like hey, four people, three straws, could we get another? After my second refill I got my straw. Even things he offered took forever, like a fresh loaf of bread when the meal arrived. Mind you, we got here about 8pm on a Friday, walked in and right to our table, no waiting. There were maybe 8 tables seated total. Service should have been 100% at this point. The girls both had adult beverages which they both«liked» despite complaining that they were fizzy. Our friend’s Sangria was«fizzy» and different, so take that for what it is, it’s the best description I could get. The wife had some limeade drink and had the same complaint. For dinner, I ordered toasted ravioli for an appetizer and the lasagna with Caesar salad. The salad was ok, but the first time I’ve ever seen tomatoes on a Caesar. I hate fresh tomatoes, which is why I normally order Caesar! The ravioli was actually pretty good, probably the highlight of my meal. The lasagna was a combination of overcooked and just not good. When I make lasagna, I want a good hearty, meaty lasagna. This was a brick of noodles and cheeses, stuffed with the least amount of meat as I could imagine, and then doused in sauce. The noodles were hard on the top layer, and rubbery on the bottom, making it difficult to cut even with the knife. I ate about 4 bites before I decided I was done. Luckily, no one else was worried about the raviolis, because I ate the rest of those and killed off the bread to get my fill for the night. Everyone else seemed to like their food, however. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe just the dish I chose. Regardless, there wasn’t enough of anything else in terms of atmosphere, menu selection, service, just anything to make me want to drive to this place again, especially with all the eateries in the area that I have yet to try.

I went a few weeks ago for another group dinner, this subject: SSA. Gol, don’t we all think it’s not going to be around for us. And isn’t this usually a sad-sack story. Ahh, maybe not so much. There were seven of us, so it was quite an intimate group, yet we had our own room. I was drinking diet Coke, and was well-well-replenished as soon as my glass was getting low. This is a big deal for me. Always needing to be hydrated. And our server was spectacular. Service was stellar, and we ordered off the menu. I remembered my last visit, so stayed away from Mizithra cheese and browned butter. I got the garlic shrimp fettuccine($ 13.50): shrimp on fettuccine, garlic and cream sauce with shallots, lemon and white wine, topped with shredded Romano cheese. This was a winner. It came with a salad, as do all these dinners. I got bleu cheese dressing, and it was a great-tasting and fresh salad. The bread was soft and yeasty, both good things. And the butter was soft. .. another good thing. You carve you own hunk of carb and slather it the way you want. That works for me. My entrée was huge: at least 8 large shrimp. But I really hate tail-on when it’s in sauce, because I have to «fish» them out to remove the tails. And then cut up the shrimp, so I get a bite of shrimp with every forkful. It’s great for presentation, but not great for eating. Tail-on is good for a shrimp cocktail, so you have a handle. But it’s better for nothing else but that. After I removed two tails and cut up two shrimp and had a few bites, everybody else was done eating. I stopped, too. Dinner includes dessert: vanilla or spumoni ice cream. I went for the spumoni this time, and it was so good and so chilled and so tasty of so many flavors. Pistachio and cherry rang out on my palate. Never had it before, and I’d do it again. I had a hefty to-go vessel of my fettuccine, and it was an all-around informational, educational and nutritional evening. I’ve giving four stars for the all-inclusive concept of dinner from salad to dessert. And I got a a winner of an entrée that lasted two more meals that I wanted to eat.
