As far as wine shops go, we love Colonial Wine and Beverage. We drive about 40 minutes every few months to pick up a stock of great wine at great prices.
Yes, you have to walk through aisles of boxes instead of expensive wooden crates, but it’s still a great experience. They have a detailed description of all their wines — we love that.
We enjoyed a wine tasting there once too! The wine guy on duty knows a lot!
We use Colonial Wine and Beverage when we want to order wines that are not available in Ohio stores. We just call them up and a day or two later, the wines are ready for us to pick up.
As most stores, CWB offers a 10% discount when we buy a dozen bottles. We like that. And we love their «discount» section.

I had a mediocre experience buying here. Its hard to blame the owner who helped me but 50% of his suggestions turned out to be bad. It’s a «not a bad bottle in here» kind of store so do your homework.
