My lady and I visited here on 5⁄21 and I definetly won’t be back. I ordered a chicken sandwhich and when it arrived, 2 bites into it I find that the inside is still gooey and uncooked chicken. I politely notified the waitress and she looked it it, commented how gross that is and apologized, then took my plate and threw it away. Upon receiving the bill I was told that I still had to pay for it. I have no words to say other than any restaurant that requires patrons to pay for unsanitary and illegally prepared food is not one I will return too. Apparently the fact that my family has been regulars here for nearly a decade doesn’t matter.

Used to go here a lot. The food was decent and they make a good drink. Won’t go back after getting cussed out my a drunk regular and the owner who was listening to it, let this MAN cuss me out without saying a word to him. Who let’s a drunk cuss out a girl for doing nothing? I guess he cares about his drunk regulars more than how people should be treated!

I went at night so I did not get any food. The clientele were regulars, but friendly. The bar was dark and dank, but maybe cause it was already midnight. The bartender(Jewel I think) was really nice and prompt. I forgot that you can smoke in some bars in Indiana, and this being one. A better ventilation system would raise another star, but it is what it is.

Great joint! Great food! Very comfortable place to be. Fantastic atmosphere. Just got Xfinity so the TV’s have great pictures. Free Wi-Fi, too. New bar seating area allows for more space for everyone. Worth the stop!

Danny O’s is pretty much a establishment in Michigan City. Danny and his wife, Patty are always in there having a blast themselves. The food is ok. I know they say their pizza is amazing but I rather have papa john’s think crust. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good but we are not coming here for the food. The bartenders are nice and they have some themed nights, just a good place to hangout.

Best pizza in Chesterton, gotta got the sausage thin crust. A bit pricey but worth it to splurge.

Pretty divey, charged $ 5.50 for a vodka cranberry. Older crowd. Left and went to Upper Deck instead.

Stumbled upon Danny O’s, and at first was taken aback by the, um, rather basic appearance, but it was so much fun! The Italian beef and pizza are great, and the staff is exceptional. So friendly and welcoming. We headed to the bar for a couple of after-dinner drinks and had a really great night out. Excellent local establishment.

Another well-known local bar, makes me feel welcome in Indiana. Music selections were pretty good. It was cool to see the locals(and you know they go there every weekend) sing all the songs playing on the jukebox. I like that they have a pool table, but they only have one so you might end up waiting a while to get some game time. It’s not really«Frat-ish» or «Rougher» in the way of music and patrons. I’d say overall the place is the middle ground when compared to that of the other local choices. As always it’s a bar, so lots to drink, music to jam to and people to hang with — what more could you want. Pros: Beer, Pool Table, Parking, Juke Box Cons: Only 1 Pool Table Cost: $$ of 5 Overall Rating: 3.75 of 5 Recommendation: Recommended
