Great area to visit, lots of parking in the back lot. Got burgers and beer. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Gets pretty crowded at the bar on certain nights but still great! D

The food is fine, the ambiance is fine… everything is fine, but the price point is ridiculous given the«fine» circumstances. The female servers wear their hair long, which, having been a server for many years, I find to be unsanitary. During my last visit, the bartender proceeded to fondle her long curly hair and scratch her scalp while taking our drink order. I’ll take anything that doesn’t require a garnish, thanks.

Outstanding! We hosted a graduation party there recently and reserved the private room in the back. I can only say great things about Evelin, the Private Dining Coordinator, who helped me plan the event for 30 people from 3,000 miles away. She helped with the flowers, cake and menu selection(I mean, she literally picked up the flowers and cake for me while I was at the graduation ceremony!!!) Talk about customer service. She also printed out special menus for the evening, congratulating the graduate. I could not have done it without you! The appetizers were outstanding — we selected a couple of flatbreads, the cheesesteak eggsrolls and ahi tacos — all of them were a hit. I cannot say enough for the staff that handled our party that evening. Special thanks to our servers, Adam and Kasie. A few guests arrived late so our dinner service had to be pushed back but Adam and Kasie made everything run seemlessly. The entrees were delicious(options of salmon, filet mignon and roast chicken) and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The restaurant and staff accommodated our Gluten-Free needs flawlessly as well. Also, thank you, Eric(GM) for checking in on us as often as you did and for setting us up for the slideshow without a hitch. It helped that no one had the room booked after us so we did not feel rushed out. On the contrary, everyone made us feel like we could stay longer. Thanks again for making the graduation celebration a huge success!

This place is great! I have eaten here a couple of times and all of the food has been amazing. Obviously — the steak is top notch, but everything with it is great as well. The steak egg rolls are heavenly, the mini tuna tacos are little bites of deliciousness, and I still have sweet dreams about the Mac and Cheese. And don’t even get me started about the desserts! Except for the chocolate cake — make sure you plan to share! The coconut cream pie was big enough to smash into someone’s face, but still delicious and creamy. The chocolate cake is so actually a normal person size, but don’t let that fool you, best things come in small packages! But the nutella bread pudding — oh. my. god. Warm, gooey, sweet, delicious, just everything. Service is also always top notch and the waiters are very helpful. So why note 5 stars? Well, its actually because every time I come here it is for a work event, so I have never actually paid for a meal here or had it served to me personally in a non-large group setting. So I hesistate to give it my best rating without investigating these things first(which I plan to do!). So I may update! But I would definitely recommend to go and enjoy!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dined here last night for the first time with my family to celebrate my graduation. Our server was Dan and he was phenomenal… Very attentive with a great personality. Our drinks came out quick and the food was to die for(we got appetizers, entrees, and dessert). It came out in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection. I think I could have eaten 3 orders of the cheesesteak egg rolls myself and been happy with it(soooo amazing). The experience could not have been more positive! Can’t wait to go back. :-)

Just attended a private party here. They had exceptional service… constant clearing of dirty dishes, always checking in on guests to make sure everyone was served well. Great food, really good experience.

Yikes! I’ve never had a worse steak in my life. The kitchen staff need to learn how to cook filet mignon, it should NEVER be dry! On top of the awful food that did not come out as ordered, the overall service was less than expected. Drinks should not take 15+ min, and when you bring a second glass of wine, you should take the first glass away… Staff was unapologetic and I felt like I was at some cheap chain restaurant rather than a well-known steakhouse. Won’t be returning.

Absolute worst steak I’ve ever had! I ordered a medium rare filet mignon and it came well done. My boyfriends was so thin and dry it looked nothing like filet mignon. The service was also horrible. I ordered a glass of wine and it took twenty minutes. For such an expensive steak house I’m surprised they don’t have better quality control. Beyond disappointing, I’m floored.

Del Frisco’s Grille in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts is nothing short of phenomenal. The modern architecture and ambience is breathtaking, the food is exquisite, and the workers are pleasant. The food will blow you away – the steak house salad is a personal favorite of mine. Try it! I have eaten here many times and have never had a negative experience in terms of service(which is very common in other restaurant chains). I have always felt welcomed and the staff has continuously been super friendly and helpful. This experience isn’t exclusive to this particular location; I have also eaten at the Del Frisco’s Grille at Rockefeller Center in New York City. The food and staff was amazing at that location as well but this brand new modern layout of the Chestnut Hill restaurant most definitely sets this location a part. I will continue to take visiting friends and family members to grab a bite during brunch, lunch, or dinner.

I have heard great things about this restaurant and was very excited to have dinner here but my first experience was not positive at all. We had reservations and was seated at a table near the bar. The place was not too hectic considering it was a Friday evening at 8:00PM. Our waitress came over with menus and made a few recommendations for cocktails. I am a fan of sangria a but didn’t get one because I am on a no sugar diet so I passed. My friend got a Jack Abby. Drinks took a while to come but they eventually made its way to our table. We ordered the steak and cheese egg-roll for an app and for entrees, the filet and the short rib. Twenty minutes later, our entrees were delivered but our app was no where to be seen. The person offered to take out entrees to be held in back but we were not going to have our steaks under a warmer while they made us our app. To compromise, we told him to cancel the egg rolls and replace with a Caesar salad thinking a salad would be quick. We also ordered another beer. We started on the entrée and neither the salad not the second beer ever came. The waitress walked by us a dozen times and never once refilled our water. When we were done, she finally shows up and as she was picking up out empty plates, commented that she liked to see empty plates. It took every ounce of restraint on my part not to blurt out that we were so hungry since we didn’t get our app or salad. Another waitress came to refill my water and I could not help but asked her to send over the manager. It took the manager about 10 minutes to make his way to our table and we told him what happened. It is always awkward to complain but it was even worse when a very tall guy is standing over your table while doing so. I get he had no control of his height but he could have knelt and be more at our eye level when we were talking. He offers us a free beer but we refused because we didn’t complain to get a free beer or anything else. He leaves to figure out the disconnect and came back with our check along with two coupons for free apps(with the purchase of entrees, so not really free). People often go to certain restaurants for the food as well as an expected level of service and this place definitely fell short on service. Food was ok but the service left a very sour taste in our mouths. Not once did the waitress come over to apologize for the lack of service and lack of what we ordered. Hopefully she will get more training before she waits another table.

We went to DFG for my going away party from my previous job. Even though we had a big party of 17 people the service was great, we actually had two servers, one for each side of the table. We ordered appetizers, the ahi tuna tacos and the cheesesteak egg rolls, which were highly recommended by our server. They were good, but not great. The taco flavors were not balanced and the acid from the lime juice overwhelmed the entire dish, but the tacos were«cute». I ordered the sliced steak specifically because it came with a jalapeño– bacon twice baked potato. The presentation of the dish was pleasing, the potato standing up on its end with the jalapenos and bacon visible on top. Unfortunately, the potato was extremely undercooked, to the point of being raw in the middle,(a fork would not go through). Also the potato was never removed from the skin, which is what one thinks of in a twice baked potato. It was brought to the servers attention and he brought out mashed potatoes, which were very good. One of my colleagues ordered filet with french fries, the server spilled half of the french fries and parmesan all over the table, served the dish anyway, and proceeded to wipe up the spilled food. Overall, I am grateful for the party from my coworkers, but would never choose this restaurant again, the food quality does not match the prices.

Went here on a Wednesday afternoon with 8 of my coworkers for lunch. It was pretty empty so no reservations are really needed. Plenty of parking outside. I ordered the red sangria which was delicious. For appetizers we shared the ahi tuna tacos which were really good but super messy to eat. Chicken lollipops were yummy and spicy just the way I like it. And the philly cheese steak egg rolls were delicious as well. I ordered the lobster roll(requested light on the mayo) with a side of sweet potato fries. No complaints here — everything was pretty good. I would come back again for lunch. Our server was very attentive. Everything was very reasonably priced as well.

This is our go to classy date night joint. Fun signature cocktails, creative, delicious appetizers and awesome main dishes with big portions. Their steak sandwich and lamb burger are terrific. Their apps are really fun and unique– philly cheese steak egg rolls, ahi tuna tacos and amazing flatbreads. I really love this place. Service is hit or miss. We’ve been here five times now– 3 times, the service has been stellar, the other two, not so much. Other than that, we love this place. We’ll be coming back time and time again!

Went here to grab a bite to eat before some shopping with the boyfriend and a friend. The place wasn’t too crowded, so we were seated right away. This restaurant is on the second floor and has a view overlooking the lake – which made for a nice setting. For my meal, I decided to go with the lamb burger with a side caesar salad. The salad was a good size, but wasn’t very inspired. The burger, on the other hand, was actually very good. This is definitely a lamby burger, so if you really like lamb this will be right up your alley. The meat is cooked well and pairs nicely with the roasted tomatoes and feta. If I had any complaints, it would be to add more roasted tomatoes to the dish. Otherwise, it was a very solid lunch dish. Overall, this place has a great ambiance and the service was friendly. The food took a little bit of time to come out, but the quality was high and everyone in our group left satisfied.

3.5 stars. Overall, I thought it was good. With the DelFrisco’s name, you would hope for more, especially for the food prices. The décor is nice and welcoming. A decent selection of food — I had the tuna tacos for an appetizer which was very good. For salad, I had the burrata cheese with heirloom tomatoes. The only heirloom tomatoes were the few cherry tomatoes sprinkled on the plate. Dinner was the burger with green chilies and sweet potato fries. Burger was good but the fries came out cold, unfortunately. Wine selection and pricing was very good and service was attentive without being overbearing. This was my second time in and had similar experiences both times.

Wow, has things changed. The Spicy Pork Meatball pizza was really salty and the Fire Roasted Artichoke was swimming in oil also bad was the Steakhouse Salad which was served with cold steak but the worse dish was the Berkshire Pork Meatballs! The meatballs were dry, burnt and the sauce was so bad even the bartender said it didn’t look right and the biggest kicker… no more Brown Bag Fish which was a great dish. The server/bartender was really good and the manager seemed to care when we complained and the dishes we sent back were taken off the bill. The Friday lunch crowd was very few I guess bad reviews travel fast.

Came to this location for Brunch(I normally go to the Seaport Location) it was good, a smaller space than I was expecting, but the interior was pretty and in a good location at the street. My only issue was there was a large party having some sort of event, and it wasn’t in a separate room that was LOUD. I know that events happen, but if its in the same dining room I am eating in it can be detrimental to my experience. The waitress earned brownie points because my SO forgot his glasses and she came running outside to bring them back. I would go back and try them for dinner.

The food at the Del Frisco in Burlington was so much better despite them being the same place. We ordered the same exact food and was disappointed because the flavor of the food was a little bland. We were actually excited that there was a Del Frisco so close to home since we liked the food so much when we went to the one in Burlington. That was our first time ever going, after our experience at the chestnut hill location we most likely won’t be returning. Wasn’t worth the price… Only good thing I can say it that the space was VERY nice and the staff were very friendly and gave great service !

Came for drinks and apps before a movie at the Superlux next door. We got a bottle of Malbec and an order of the shredded brussels sprouts as well as the parmesan fries(both found under the sides section of the menu). The Brussels Sprouts were supposedly pan-fried in a little bit of bacon grease for flavor and then seasoned after. I couldn’t really tell if it was bacon grease, because there was no flavor, but man, they sure were greasy. And bland. And I mean I love brussels sprouts, but these were not at all exciting to me. Would not recommend. The parmesan fries were a bit skimpy in portion(came in a cone) and light on the parmesan, so they were basically regular fries. Nothing bad to say there. The bottle of Malbec was fine, although the menu said it was a 2012, but when they brought it out the label said 2014, so buyer beware if that matters to you. The bartender was there to give us refills on our waters but not enough to be obtrusive.
