Jeffrey Spiegel, MD – Advanced Facial Aesthetics

About a year ago I had a birth mark removed from my neck by my dermatologist. She said there was a chance it would grow back because only a plastic surgeon could really nip it at the root. To my dismay, she was right. Only four or so months later, TADAAA, it was back.
Dr. Spiegel was recommended to me by family, so I hopped on a plane and flew up to Boston. I’m really not good with needles (and by that I mean I usually straight up faint… gahh I don’t even like the thought of it!) but this procedure was so quick and painless, much more so than when my dermatologist did it!
Alright… I’ll admit, there was a short prick and burn when he injected the anesthetic, but that only lasted a few seconds. A minute later he put in a quick stitch and it was done. Just like that! He even showed my mom how to remove the stitch so we could do it at home a week later. It’s been a few months now and theres basically no scarring. If you get up reeeeeeeal close, maybe you’ll see a small spot of skin thats a tad lighter than the rest… but I don’t think I’d let you get that close :)
