Great little shop next to Bloomingdales, really nice staff, and clothes that are cut to make you feel like a goddess. The dresses in particular are stunning; there’s just something about the Adolfo Dominguez cut which is designed to «hold» a woman’s body in such a way… Reminds me a bit of Tracy Reese’s stuff, or an Alaia. (Jeez, I sound like a label whore; I swear I’m not!). Especially with the advantage of a sale, I don’t mind paying for this kind of quality. A great place to shop for a special occasion dress, for sure.

I discovered Adolfo in late summer and I’ve been a frequent shopper since. The design and quality of the clothes are fantastic. My wardrobe contains the top designers (Dior Homme, Prada, etc) but Adolfo has become the rising star in my closet. The quality and design can easily compete with the high-​end designers but the prices are much more reasonable. The staff here are incredible. They are honest. Many times I’ve been told that if I’m not entirely in love with the item, then I should not get it because I will not wear it in the future. They will not try to force a sale on you and they are very customer service oriented. Any problem that I had, they quickly resolved to my satisfaction. If you are ever in the area, check them out. At the very least, you’ll have a great time interacting with the staff. At the very best, you’ll walk out with items you will love.

I just discovered Adolfo Dominguez — Chevy Chase last Friday, during my Thanksgiving break in Maryland. What an amazing find! The store is small and intimate and gives off a classy European vibe. My mother actually recognized the brand from our travels to Barcelona. The clothes are of great quality and fit — and lucky for us they were having a 40% off sale, due to the Black Friday holiday! We received first-​class service and I even got to practice my spanish with one of the owners. Truly a memorable and authentic experience.
I highly recommend visiting this store on your next shopping trip in Chevy Chase, me encanta!

Between the service, the ambience, the quality of clothing and the way I look after a good shop at Adolfo, there is not much more I can say about this place other than EXCEPTIONAL. The Range of styles will appeal not only to the washington elite it will also look good on the average man on the street.

They also have very nice men’s clothes. Stuff you can’t find anywhere else. Great service and very reasonable prices considering the euro: dollar exchange rate.
