Brookville Market very warm welcome family owned business. Stopped in today and enjoyed their handmade fresh sushi and their new dry aged local beef custom cut any way you want it. I was told to call ahead for special orders for weekends and holidays. Support Your Local Butcher!

Lived right up the street for 4 years, and rarely a day went by when one of the kids or I didn’t stop in to pick up fresh bread, milk, or some ingredient that I had forgotten. I love this place. They have almost everything you might need, even somewhat random items. Yes, it is more expensive than a chain grocery, but it is so worth it for the walkable convenience. Also, they provide notary services, which we used on several occasions. As others have noted, you can also get beer and wine.

I am blessed to have this market within three blocks of my house. Good fresh and sliced meats. Fruit/vege selection could be expanded. Beer and Wine in a pinch. More expensive and less selection than Safeway, but if I can get it at Brookville, that’s where I am headed.

Just moved into this neighborhood and this has become my local convenience store. I am so glad! It is well stocked, has good opening hours and the service team is very friendly and efficient. They have a good selection of fruit and vegetables, wine, bread, and a very tasty deli counter selection. Moreover, parking is very easy and convenient(how many times do you get to write that in the DC area??) I’d say it was a little pricey, but for that you get the local convenience. Very happy to have these guys so close by.

This is the sort of neighborhood grocery many of us grew up patronizing, for the best reasons. They order cases of canned pumpkin for us(we have a very large dog and it’s part of her diet.) They set it aside, and then give us a 10 percent discount, as well. They are not Whole Foods Market, but they don’t need to be. Great to have them in Chevy Chase.

The finest supermarket in the National Capital Region. Here’s why: 1. Booze on Sundays is sold here. Wait a minute. Is it also sold in other supermarkets too? Maybe I’m having a Georgia Flashback. 2. Sushi — and good sushi too. 3. Gifford’s ice cream. 4. Miller High Life. The Champagne of Beers. Oh man, I can taste it now. all the other usual stuff and great service — along with fresh flowers.
