Dr. Lambert’s office is the Saks Fifth Avenue of the dental profession. She recently moved from her practice at McDermott, Gianni & Gray(the address information on this listing needs updating) and I followed her to the new place at 5530 Wisconsin Ave, Ste. 1030. Both offices were well-designed, peaceful and welcoming. Assistants who answer the phone and process paperwork are efficient, professional and polite. Then there’s the cleaning itself. They do a diligent job. And you know the tickly cleaner thing they use after they pick at your teeth? It doesn’t tickle so much when they do it. I wonder if it’s better equipment than at most places, or if it’s their touch. I knocked off one star, though, for some fumbling during my bi-annual X-rays. It took three tries to get a good image of one side, which had me fuming – people who blitz me with gratuitous radioactivity get on my bad side. Then they tried twice on the other side, and the second time the X-ray machine moved after she went to push the button. Despite my muffled squealing(there was plastic in my mouth, after all) they didn’t come move the thing. I tried to swat it away from my neck before they fired it off. I told them I’ve reached my quota for carcinogenic activity, so there will be no more X-rays today, and they obliged.
