I own a unit in a building which is managed by Paul Associates. I have not one good thing to say about them. They are slow to reply to questions and they are unable to compromise in any possible way. They are incredibly inflexible and insensitive. They don’t care to speed up their service even if my tenants have freezing air coming in to their apartment through the broken door. They don’t care.
If you need something repaired, they monopolize you into using one of their employees and make it nearly impossible for you to use an independent contractor. And of course, their prices are higher and their work speed is slower and delayed. The contractors that they recommend — forget about it — you might as well live with the puckered floors or whatever the problem is. It will be more ideal than using one of the contractors they recommend.
Stay away from this management company.
